Math Challenge # 2
This one should be a bit easier. However, it's also easier to find on the internet, so no cheating! And I suppose this is more physics, but meh...
Find an equation for the escape velocity under variable gravitational fields using the laws of classical mechanics. |
e=mc^2
lol I'm hilarious |

The fuck? I thought this was a math problem. |
Mechanics is a branch of Mathematics.
I reckon a couple of the SUVAT equations will feature in the working out of this problem. |
axˆ2 + bx + c = 0
Ha! eat that quadratic for breakfast! How the fuck do you make the 2 a superscript on a keyboard? I couldn't even find it on the windows character map.. I want to make it squared! :( |
Unless you've got the function in the text editor, I don't think it's possible, unless you post it as a picture.
EDIT: Tell a lie, it's in the Windows Character Map... well, Vista's, at least. ax² + bx + c = 0 |
Well, not on XPs :-/
