Moon Landing?

Who think it's real, and who thinks that it was fake/staged planned out, shot in a studio, etc.

/Discuss

I recently had thought it was real, for a long time before I actually did any research, but just like any 9/11 conspiracy there's tons of flaws in both sides of the argument, like literally every statement can/could go either way, which makes it hard to decide for yourself. o_O

I'd bet a lot of the 'research' you did involves false/hyperbole facts. Usually the anti-moon-landing people using weird theories/arguements to disprove the moon landing but these can be countered with common sense and science, generally. I'm not going to spoon feed you on this one, keep researching I guess.

I for one am content knowing we've been to the moon.

We have been to the moon, simple as that. People wouldn't be dying in space shuttles for a hollywood hoax. God I hope not anyways.

slaynish 2007-06-23 12:14 PM

I think we went to the moon. There's no way that those nasa guys could keep it a secret that long.

gruesomeBODY 2007-06-23 11:09 PM

We have been there. Where do u think the rocks came from?

Dar_Win 2007-06-24 11:42 AM

They're just really big kidney stones.

You can tell I'm right if you just look at them closely.

slaynish 2007-06-24 03:07 PM

LOL..

No way.

Yes we've been to the moon.

Anyone who's not wearing a tinfoil hat would know this.

So that's what I've been doing wrong all this time...

D3V 2007-06-25 12:56 PM

Yeah, but it's fun to be skeptical.

Demosthenes 2007-06-30 06:10 PM

Skepticism is innocuous as long as it is recognized as skepticism. When it is preposterously exaggerated and asserted as fact without sufficient, or in some cases, any real evidence it ceases to be innocuous.

!King_Amazon! 2007-07-01 02:37 PM

You're just trying to sound smart now.

Lenny 2007-07-01 02:40 PM

Don't think he needs to try, to be honest.

I don't think the Moon Landing was faked.

That would certainly be the goal of using elevated vocabulary. It's basically the same reason I would want to type properly. Although of all my posts, I'm surprised you would comment on that one. Those are words I like to throw around commonly.

I applaud your linguistic prowess and grammatical dedication, two attributes oft found to be lacking in the modern world. Thank you, sir.

Thanatos 2007-07-02 10:18 AM

You wouldn't guess he's only 16, either.

It's not elevated vocabularly, it's extra.

timmay1113 2007-07-02 11:37 AM

16 and able to kick my ass... well at least not while he was crippled lol.

Fine. I'll dumb it down.

"Skepticism is harmless as long as people know and let others know that they are being skeptical about something that is commonly believed as fact. On the other hand, if they exaggerate it wayyyyyy too much and say it's fact without much, or sometimes any real evidence then it isn't harmless anymore."

If that helps you, great. My guess is it doesn't.

I choose to use an elevated vocabulary in my posts because that is the most succinct way I can think of to unequivocally convey my point to the best of my abilities. I don't do it simply to be pedantic.
