I'm not a Mac user, no. Sorry to disappoint. :p

Though I've been playing around with my Grandad's Mac recently. One of the little laptops.

It does a few things that a PC definitely doesn't do - for example, I'd never heard of Bluetooth built into a computer until I used the Mac, and I thought the fact that I can connect my phone to it via Bluetooth, and send things back and forth between the two was kinda quaint. :)

Another thing that was nice is the ports - they're all magnetic!

Apart from that, using it takes some getting used to. You can't tap the touchpad to select something, you've always got to use the mouse. There's always a toolbar across the top of the screen that changes when you open a different program. When you open program's then they appear on the dock, and it can be quite frustrating to close them. Also, to find anything, whether it be a document or an application, you can't just hit Start > Programs > Find the application, you've got use a thing called "Finder" which is like "My Computer" on a PC. I guess you can make icons on the desktop to quickly go to the programs, but I haven't tried it. Nor do I know whether you can change the desktop picture/colour - at the moment his is the default grey.

I know someone with a Mac who is always making it out to be a God, and bad-mouthing Windows, who also gets really frustrated with quite a few Maccy things - "Oh, Windows is stupid, you can't see me on my camera because Windows isn't compatible", or "Windows is stupid - I've got this great Mac program but you can't use it on Windows because Windows sucks". He recently installed XP using BootCamp so he could play games, which I thought was rather amusing. :p

Yeah, me being a gamer, I don't think I could have a mac as my own full time computer. Too many compatability issues.

You can create aliases on a Mac, which are like shortcuts in Windows. Also, you should be able to navigate to the stuff through the drive icons, which are directly on the desktop (at least on the versions I've used)

You could also just put the applications you use offten on your dock so you have a list of the applications you use most offten.
yes i am a mac user but i know there are advantages to windows too. Hence, why i am getting 1.
