GTA: Liberty City Stories
Yea, so heres a little more info about the first GTA game for the PSP. It looks sweet. Some draw backs but nothing you can't live without.
[quote]Seemingly lifted from a Spanish magazine (what is it about Spanish magazines and the refusal to adhere to embargos?) we have a fresh and compelling point-by-point explanation of some of the more interesting aspects of Liberty City Stories. # First up is some bad news. According to the information we saw, players will not be flying around in aeroplanes or helicopters. Boats and road vehicles only, were afraid # The Michael Madsen-voiced lead protagonist Toni (yes, the girly spelling) is controlled using the analogue nub # Various camera angles - both when on foot and in vehicles - can be selected...by using the Select button no less! # There will a wide selection of outfits to choose from # There will be new landmarks in Liberty City as well as old areas youll recognise # R3 missions were confirmed as being included # All of the cars from the original GTA3 will be in included, as well as all of the motorcycles featured in Vice City # The graphics have been tended to closely, with massive draw-distances and detailed reflections being of note We would have called Rockstar to ask about the various elements of its new game but they refused to talk to us after we posted our piece about San Andreas's two-player mode.[quote] And for images, goto the source = http://spong.com/detail/news.asp?prid=8831 Doesn't seem to bad at all. I'm up for it. |
This sucks....why would they port Liberty City instead of San Andreas? Is not like anybody hasnt got to play it enough yet....geez they ahve it otu for every frkkin system now, and its garbage from th very first release...

Its all new missions etc. It just happens to be in Liberty City. You never know, but next their could be a Vice City game adn than a San Andreas game.
The only real thing both LC games have in common is the name, some places and the vehicles as far as we know at the moment. They have GTA: SA out for Xbox or soon will and LC isn't out for every system, NGC doesn't have it do they? It's not a port either, all new story/missions makes it different. Just think, if this game counts as a port, than GTA 3 on the PS2 counts as a port of LC from GTA1 on the PS1. Think about it. |
San Andreas is too big to fit on one disc and too complex for the PSP most likely. It had some trouble on the PS2.

Yea, the "Golden Gate Bridge" alone took up 1.27mb -_- imagine everything else.
