Another person, another worry
Yet again, I've got a new worry. This one's about my ex.
Recently he's met someone he's fallen really hard for. Well, I've learned that this guy doesn't really like him all that much. Just recently he sent him a letter talking about how he felt about him. Well, he's awaiting a reply to see if he can get with this guy he likes. There's only 2 outcomes: the guy shoots him down and my ex falls hard or he gets accepted and everything's good. My worry is the first thing. I don't really know why I'm so worried about who he gets together with or if he gets shot down, but I do...just a concern...meh... |
Sounds like the former is going to occur. It happens to everyone, he should try to learn something from it and move on. Easier said than done, but must be done regardless.
Yeah...I know. The only way we can learn is to have our rejections.
After the first time (if it's his first I don't know) it usually isn't so bad.
It's not his first, but this is probably one of the first that he's felt that he loved.
That's what I meant... yeah. Feelings are just feelings. With no basis, they don't mean anything. If the other person isn't into you, I believe it's almost selfish to have feelings for them.
And you trying to tell us something H-K??? DO you want me to help and open the door for you to get out?? Hmm??
---------- If he does get shot down you could maybe be there and comfort him etc., then he will know there's at least one person in the world who's looking out for him. |
Good advice, Lenny. Also, people can learn more from failure/rejection.
I have a sneaking suspicion this guy is putting off my ex...
What do you mean? Not replying? If so, he probably doesn't care.
Yeah, just speaking in generalaties, if there's no reply, it's probably not USPS's fault...
Uh.. cute?
I'm saying that if his ex doesn't get a reply, he shouldn't cross his fingers and hope that maybe the letter got lost or something. There's a reason no reply game.
