PS3, XBOX 360, or Nintendo Revolution?
If you could have the chance to have any of the three right now, which one would you want?
PS3 hands down.
You don't want a reason why do you?? |
I wouldn't want either because the games aren't available and it would just be a paperweight for a long time. Plus I make my console purchases based on quality of lineup.
Fair enough...what about when the games in development at this moment are available?? Which console would you go for then?? If you don't know which games are in development for each console search around sites like www.gamespot.com
What I'm trying to say is that I don't trust the launch title hype and tend to wait until after the release and reviews before a decision. Although given what happened in the last generation, the Xbox 360 looks like it has a better chance of being a superior system. But I don't want to give up on Sony just yet because even though I had to buy two of them, I love my PS2 and want to love the PS3. I'll eventually buy all three but I don't know which I pick out first.
Would you let me sway you in Sony's direction??
Look at the Xbox...it seems to me that the only good game/s they have, are the Halo series. You don't hear about the other games. Then look at the PS's...the games they have are truly awesome. They get the GTa's first, they have the DMC series, Final Fantasy's...KH!!!...it's looking like loads of the games shown at the Sony press conference are going to be out at the same time the PS3 comes out...and an possible FFVII remake!!! Tell me, do you get that on the Xbox?? |
Halos, Bioware dibs (Jade Empire, KOTOR series), DOA series, and Ninja Gaiden are what I liked on the Xbox, and it's true that the PS2 had more games I enjoyed. In fact, looking at my game collection I have three Xbox games and 9 PS2 games (this is not including ones I recently sold when I moved) and four GameCube games. The PS3 has a nice lineup, but I don't trust the system hype. I don't think that it could actually be 200 times more powerful than the fastest on-the-market desktop computer. I highly doubt that with one processor it can achieve teraflop performance. The Xbox 360 claims to have 3 seperate 3.2 Ghz processors that split work up amoung AI, Graphics, and operations. I really want to trust Sony on the PS3 and hopefully their release will persuade me to buy one (most likely) but I will almost certainly be purchasing a 360 in November. I'll probably nab a PS3 when it comes out too. I just hope it won't break down like my first PS2.
It shouldn't do...My PS2 has broken down as well...:(...maybe we're not treating them right...a hot bath now and then...breakfast in bed...you know...spoil it..:p
Xbox360. I have a blind allegiance to all things Halo.
Traitor!!!!!!!!
Just 'cos I beat you to the top...:p With upo to 1gb internet connection...and a detachable HD bit...then you should be able to download some kind of emulator and play the Halo's on PS3...right?? |
Not on XboxLive.
Erm...screw Xbox Live??
Surely there's some way to cheat the system... OK...with enough string...a gopher...up to 1gb internet connection...some more string...and a detachable HD bit...then you should be able to download some kind of emulator and play the Halo's on PS3...right?? |
If someone were to create an emulator, maybe. I have no idea. I don't even think such a program exists for the current consoles, nm next-gen ones that haven't even been released yet.
I'm leaning toward Nintendo Revolution but I don't know much about it besides the ability to download games from older consoles. Might be PS3 or Xbox360 if Revolution is a let-down like Gamecube.
PS3 when there is enough games on it... As long as Sony has a strong support from Capcom, I'd be happy.
There are reports of alotta capcom games goign to be released and developed for the new PS because of the fact that it is much easier to develop for.
The Nintendo details are real sketchy, gamespot hasn't even put up a page for it yet because they have no information about it and just a few pictures / a name for it, which haven't even been confirmed by the company themselves. Supposively you can download older games like Mario, but then again if you want it just for that you can go to the store with a 20 dollar bill and get everythign you need. |
i am going with the 360 ... i think this gen is going to be like the last ... where ps starts off strong but the x-box becomes the better out of them all ... but i do like the nintendo next gen ... that it will allow u to download old nintendo games ....
