Whats the fastest you have ever driven? Preferably that you can prove.


Fastest I have ever driven: 130mph

Fastest I have proof of: 120mph

One time my dad and I drove to Germany to test our new car> I think we topped somewhere at 230-240KPH.

So somewhere around 142ish mph? Nice. What car were you in?

My dad was driving though :(. Fastest I've driven in that car is 40KPH on an empty parking lot. (I dont have my drivers license yet)

BTW, I hate you for being able to do that in Germany (I'm assuming you were on the Autobahn). Mine was on a highway with a speed limit of 65mph lol.

I'm suprised the car went that fast O_o. It's a bmw 328i. 1998.

Oh, about 45km/h. I just got my licence last wednesday. I drove yesterday through a few subdivisions and an empty parking lot. I drove a Dodge Caravan, can't remember what model. I will edit my post when I get home.

I once hit my governor at 107MPH. The sensation scared the shit out of me.

My friend, and I were driving 90mphs in his crappy car, and we got behind a Semi and the draft was making it shake hardcore. The car felt like it was going to fall apart.

Lol thats why I don't drive fast, the shaking scares me, I think.

If you are going 120 in snow you are a goddamned idiot and deserve the impending doom you're rushing towards.

Fastest I have gone is about the same, in my Integra. Me and some friends were going up to Sacramento for a car show and were running late, me in my Teg, them in their 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 (the fastest of the bunch of us), and another in his Civic (who I smoked). We went about 120 the entire way up there, even on the two-lane highway (where there was one lane in each direction), we would pass cars up in the shoulder. It was a rush to say the least.

Lol no, I wasn't driving in the snow. If you DL the pic, the road is white-ish because its the end of winter and it's stained with salt. Theres some leftover snow on the sides of the road, but none of the asphalt itself.

Edit: Forgot to mention the car. '02 BMW 745 both speeds.
The 130 mph one a guy in a mustang tried to race me on the highway. Needless to say, he lost.

I usually cruise around 90-100 on the interestate on the way home.

I don't usually drive over the speed limit, because I think no one should think that their destination is so special that they have to put other people's lives at risk to get there 10 seconds faster.

My first car was a piece of shit. It read 130 but would only take it up to 90 and then it would shake really hard so I have to stop. I now have a truck which doesn't go very fast.. got it up to 95 mph.

The fastest I've driven is 105 mph in a 2000 Ford Mustang owned by a friend.

But you see, it's not about getting to the destination sooner. I would take a route that takes four times as long if I could go four times faster (but still take four times as long getting to the destination).

Yah, it's for the thrill of the speed. Which is why I rarely go that fast and when I do the roads are basically empty. In the pic I posted the road is empty for miles behind me, and I was slowing down as I was coming up on the traffic shown.
