Nominate best game series ever
 

I'm going to use the answers to this thread to form a poll which hopefully will get a sticky or something and we can find out what people think is the best game series of all time.

I'll start off by nominating Final Fantasy.

Mega Man

Sonic 1 through Knuckles

You can't specify. Sonic the Hedgehog will suffice.

I initially wanted to say Final Fantasy but seeing as how you said that I'm gonna have to say... GTA.

I'll throw in Mario as well.

And still, I don't care what you say. In the poll it will show as Sonic the Hedgehog. "Sonic 1 through Knuckles" is not a game series.

King, I don't really see any reason to go trashing stuff. Grav's just giving you a hard time.

Legend of Zelda. The closest thing to gaming perfection ever created.

Since nobody else has nominated it: the Chrono series.

Secret of Mana was pretty kick ass. Sieken Detsu (sp?) III was sweet too. I fucking hated Legend of Mana, though.

And you didn't like Legend of Mana because God hates you.

I didn't like it because the battle system wasn't nearly as fun and the build-the-shit-as-you-go system seemed stupid to me.
