Hammerdin would be a much better choice for doing pit runs.

Countess isn't in the pit. Also to do Countess runs a lite sorc is required to kill her, and a good merc to take out her monsters.

If you have engima, then it wouldn't. But otherwise a lighting sorc is the best bet with a good merc. I guess another sorc would be good aswell, if you have the merc to kill her.
