Shaman talents

Well i havnt used any of my talent points. I'm not entirely sure witch tree to go down. Anyone have any suggestions?

The question is: do you want to go down the caster road, or down the melee road?

I went melee, and loved it.

Is there a chance of being hybrid and still being competitive? and what if I want to go down the healer road ;)

Its all really up in the air, does caster or melee generally do better?

Shaman are hybrid by nature. But usually for all classes, specializing in one or two things makes you more powerful. Shaman can be secondary healers, but if you want to heal, make a priest.

But in PvP, using spells as a shaman is very very powerful.

I was going to go about 65% enhancement 35% restoration (to get nature's swiftness.)

Some people go like 70% elemental and 30% whatever else. It just depends on what you want to do.

Overall, melee is easier and has less downtime because it isn't mana dependent.

As a mage, even though with unlimited food/drink I have to say it's fucking annoying to have to sit down after every fucking monster.

Well, you could fight monsters that are actually at or below your level, but it just wouldn't be as fun.

I taught him the 5 second rule, that should help a bit.

Randuin 2004-11-21 11:26 AM

Well even without it I was able to take lots of monsters above my level... But that's beside the point :P
