Are all chars created during open beta to be deleted when it ends? On lineage 2 they saved them :X

I know characters in closed beta weren't deleted :)

After signing up for countless closed beta and not getting into any I honestly cannot fucking wait to play this game. The last time I played was on one of the first hacked server back at alpha leak. Wow was that a joke. Open beta begins monday is my guess.

Open beta will most likely not begin Monday. This is because they are having a "stress test" first which is including the closed beta characters. If they have open beta and the stress test at the same time, then that's different.

So I guess I'm in this stress test then? Except my account doesn't work right now... so that wouldn't work too well...

They sent or are sending out some e-mails with the information on the stress test.

That doesn't mean that they won't open the signups Monday. They'll likely have signups going on during the Stress Test.

Signups doesn't mean it's beginning though. I'm not sure why they're having signups to begin with..

Yea doesn't sign ups for an open beta kind of defeat the purpose?

They have to have a way of distributing keys and whatnot.

Also, signups may be necessary to get a rough handle on how many servers they're gonna try to rush and put up. I honestly doubt they have any more than the Closed Servers and the Stress Test servers ready to be brought online at the moment.

The new Stress Test will give a rough idea of how the servers will perform under a heavy load with the new game version (since the last stress test), and the Open Beta signups will tell them how many servers they'll likely need to accomodate the OB load when they're ready to begin.
