Yes, btw I didnt put any into vigor or meditation. I put one into resist lightning though, just in case i get caught off guard i turn it on and it saved my ass from lite attacks.

In place of vigor, just use charge. It might desynch the game, but let them cry and worry about it.

Leveling will always be a problem for you. Long and boring, as you cant kill anything -.-

I've started one as well as some might have guessed from another post of mine as Ive never used on in pvp. Related to my "road rage thread" though just now I took the little untwinked level 18 V/t (more like just a V as he cant use FoH yet) and trounced some level 42 elemental druid who thought he was being funny by killing all the llds. Took him completely by surprise and I don't think he knew what hit him. All in all I was worried about the relatively low damage but so far... yep ...it works. (well that its easier to kill other players and bosses than it is to kill a swarm of monsters) One thing I have noticed is my range seems off sometimes. I'll swing but hit nothing but air and I'm using a range 2 weapon..odd.

Anyways I did have a question about conviction. Do people really use it? I know it works wonders on resists but it seems a lot to put into for prereqs when I'd already be lowish on points for FoH and its synergy after maxing holy shield, smite, and fanaticism. Would just a crescent moon phase blade and some lightning facets in a shield (or in helm or wherever) on the switch be enough?

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES.

With my skil setup convic lowers res by 85 or 90%, I forget. Then remember there is the hell penalty of -100 res. That makes 185-190 resistance they have to have to BREAK 0. They need another 75 ress for max res (assuming there are no + to max lite res gear on), so that makes it a total of 250-255 res they have to have to get max res and make your foh do little dmg. Making them put on their 4 ptopaz'd shields or tgods or whatever will give you an advantage. I mean to put on tgods alone a barb has to sac 40 vita and 15 dr! (assuming hes wearing p dungos).

damn i keep like wanting to puss out of making my V/t lol omfg what is wrong with me! maybe its cuz i like casters so much and i cant stop picturing me trying to smite sum pusser uberfast tele sorc while she orbs me lol

V/t's are anti caster. Silence + psapphire shield + dual raven + snowclash + maras = useless sorc, especially when they are orb. Just charge lock them.

well that definetly helps me, but wut about those goddamned evil windy druids lol :cry: they tele on me then cast tornado i dead hehe :cry:

oh ya and when should i be using FOH? i was kidna thinking of replacing FOH with hammers but i dunno...

Don't replace the god damn foh. Its good for people who run, or barbs who ww for like 10 mins. Sometimes they click on the opposite side of the screen and they ww a huge line, just foh them till they come back. Besides, blessed hammers don't do enough dmg unless they are maxed and use concentration.

Most wind druids are idiots. They will use lidless and have no where near max block. I can kill a lot of them by charge locking them. the ones that do have max block summon wolves and a grizzley. If you're in the mood to actually try, use foh to pick off their summons. Of course, they will just resummon but it will piss them off. Less you have a way of name locking them, dont attack them with charge or smite though. Even with my gear setup they still do massive dmg.

Btw, if you go up against a wind druid, before you go in to your kamakazie charge/smite attack (if it fails, your dead, if it wins, G_G) foh that fucking sage. W/O it, druids who uses ss and have max block dramatically lose hp, putting them at a great disadvantage. Of course, they will just tele off and recast eveyrthing, but again, it'll annoyin them. If worst comes to worst, charge around till they run out of mana. Let them cry that you ran, ask them "did I die? No? YOu couldnt kill me? Shut the fuck up".

aye how much dex should i have for max block? 50? i plan on using an up'd hoz and having holy shield maxed btw.

Max block depends on your characters level. Vangosroth is lvl 90, and has 125 dext or so atm for max block.

Hey here's a question... I know a lot of stuff doesn't add to smite as far as damage goes and I know traditionally people max fanatacism for the IAS and damage (the ar is useless to smite really). But do other auras work in conjunction with smite as far as added damage goes if you can make the 6fps breakpoint another way? Say for instance.....holy freeze or holy shock instead of fanatacism?
