Of C4 and BitTorrent...
So today, I tried downloading a collection of WoW videos from Blizzard's website. It was the one that uses their patch client core. It blue screened my PC about 10 times by the end of the DL, so that doesn't bode well for me playing WoW...
I was looking at the WoW site, considering what kind of charactor I might like, and when looking at the engineer description, I found: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...ium-charge.gif Small Seaforium Charge - Use an explosive charge to open chests. Whatever happened to their whole fantasy immersion thing? C4, named as such in a fantasy game? I also found these items immensely amusing: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...l-squirrel.gif Mechanical Squirrel - Create a mechanical squirrel that will follow you around as your pet. It serves no purpose other than to entertain people. You can hand out the squirrels to other people as gifts or even sell them. "It doesn't do anything, but boy, it's cute!" http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...sive-sheep.gif Explosive Sheep - Summons an Explosive Sheep which will charge at a nearby enemy and explode. |
Hard to follow what you're talking about.
That's because I was talking about several small things.
Fishy? Fishy, fishy! Hahaha!! You can't get me, little fishy!!
Is it just me or does the icon for the C4 look like a chainmail legging of some sort?
And yes, if you play D&D You would know such things as explosives and gunpowder exist. So the name merely refers to the chemical compound which is composed of a ring of 4 carbon atoms as its ring molecule. |
Blizzard is very silly and loves sheep.
WoW will still be good even if it does have exploding sheep.
But the sheeps only makes it better! :D
I'm just arguing that they could easily have named it something completely different or left it at C4. Changing it to seaforium is just dumb. I wonder how many exploding sheep you can carry with you at any one time . . . mass summonings in an MMORPG are always much fun.
Likely many, but I can almost guarantee there's a decent cooldown on setting one.
We'll definately have to do an exploding sheep run once we have the resources. *Imagines 20 guild members each tossing one sheep toward an enemy city every 5 seconds and the panic that ensues (in case you don't follow, that's 4 rounds per second)*
Maybe its a decoy. Heh... well probably not, but in Warcraft 3, when a sheep exploded, I don't remember it doing anything. Of course, it's been a while since i've played so I may be remembering something wrong.
