Need help with chest
 

i have a chest it works, but when you leave the place amd come back its back and the items or back, it happens with a event with a guy in my tent pls help.

Anyway, chest. To save Bluecube the time: I'm sure it's in the FAQ, if not, there is an animation on rmxp for it, and some help from the help file. I'll have to send you the help file, as you prob have the untranslated version. Yes?

Also, I'd say something along the lines of give me a few minutes, I'll modify a tileset for you, so you can put a pic of an aopen chest in your game, and have the event delete itself when you have used it. Yes?

There's a good 96% chance you're using a local switch (A B C or D). Use a "real" switch if you don't want it to be reset upon entering.

Help file. Go to start, windows explorer, c:\, program files, enterbrain, rpgxp and you should see a file with a ? that is named RPGXP, name the help file I uploaded RPGXP and replace the one in the RPGXP folder with it.

I will look on rmxp and try and explain in wormy language what you need wormy, so don't worry yet.

He's right Wormy (of course).

I'll explain. Use switch operation. Click it, and rename 0001: Chest in tent off. Then press OK, and choose to switch the switch off. Then start a branch:

..And where did you put the "RPGXP.chm" help file? It should be in the same folder as RMXP.exe. (If in fact you're using RMXP (which I'm still not sure of (parentheses))). If it's in RPGMaker 2003, same thing, but it's a HLP file that goes with the RM2003.exe file.

Apparently, the 4% clause came true - in the other thread, you said you were DELETING the event (which apparently only works until you leave the area).
