I Downloaded A Pindlebot For D2 Expansion, It Turned Out To Be A Trojan, And The Guy Went In And Took All My Stuff, Thats Not My Main Problem Though. I Was Wondering If He Can Still Se My Password If I Log In Now? Or Other Accounts Im Really Worried I Want To Start Over But I Cant Because If He Knows My Password Everytime I Log In He'll Just Keep Taking My Items Can You Plz Post Any Info Of How To Gt Rid Of The Trojan File And If He Can Still Find Out My Pass, Thanks

haha you typed that in all caps didn't you. Heh. The only way I can think of is to do a full system virus scan. Or if your really paranoid, you can reformat your whole computer.

Use norton antivirus and scane all drives.

i dont have norton, i have trend micro internet security will that do?

ok scanned the whole comp with trend micro i guess it found nothing, cause nothing came up....but im still a little hesitant,

well.. is it a fully updated virus scanner?? if so, download Spybot: search and destroy, it deletes all unwanted programs on ur comp, and its free..

I prefer ad aware for some reason, but yeah spybot will work too.

AVG virus scanner and adware or spybot. Make sure you don't download random crap anymore. You can also run msconfig and turn off all apps you don't need.

yeah, only download from trusted sites like forums. And if someone releases one, wait a day or two to dl it so the mods have time to check it out.

Fixed, and I'll say that AVG has been more reliable than an updated Norton Antivirus install every time, and it's faster and (apparently) uses less memory. I always install it when I get to be a Spyware Janitor and fix people's computers (i.e. run free programs to clean up the mess)

i dunno what to tell u except that really sucks, but, i also think u should just quit d2, i did, and im the happiest ive been since i started playing it, now i actually go outside, i play with my friends, i do all sorts of stuff. so u should either try all that stuff to make sure he cant find out ur passes, or u can quit. ( i dont know how to do all that crazy computer stuff)

same here i quit d2 now i feel better then when i use to play d2. I have more time now to do my homework and my study.
