From GB to TB just like that? You're shitting me, right?
|
Yeah right.
This will be in development until this guy is dead. Not gonna happen anytime soon. |
Yea what uncapped said. It's going to be under development for a long ass time!
|
Yeah, that'll be on the market when im 40 or so.. :P
|
I'm guessing it'll be out in about 7 years.
|
why would you need that much storage....

That would be cool as shit, but not for a few more years. I didn't read the whole thing, I just read enough to realize what the thread title meant... Which was about 5 words.. :(
|
I thought he meant Green Bay to Tampa Bay at first from reading the title.
SILLY ME! |

Man, that diagram is bullshit. I can compress a movie to 700 MB and still get perfect DVD quality.
|
I can download all my favorite music onto one disk! I can install like 10 games on that sucker!
.. when I am around 60 or so? Haha. |
Meh.
I can't even fill my 80 Gig drive, so I'm not in any rush. :D |
My 20 gb hd on my laptop never got filled. It be a pretty spiffy thing to have though
|
It'd be great, you'd only have to buy one CD in your lifetime. Then again, new file types are being created for new file productions, who knows how much stuff will take up in the future
|
I'm guessing this won't be in development for too long (3-4 years max?)
But for common use I'm guessing alot longer. |
"Have you ever dream of 100 terabyte of data per 3.5-inch disk?"
Every night for the past two years... |
I dream of other things... Actually come to think of it, i hardly ever dream
|
I had a dream that I was with a bunch of fat black people and the mafia... the black people were our hostages. It was cool as hell.
|
Oh, now I understand why the jump from GB to TB is possible! Thanks Penny!
