Sov, her sig is an advertisement, I thought any form of advertisement on Zelaron was prohibited..... The link in her sig is a site with a 'subscription' option on it, that would classify it as an 'advertisement?' ..

To my understanding, it is acceptable to put links to personal sites in your signature. The 'register' option just permits you to leave comments on her website, and is in no way really beneficial to her

It's not 'Register' its 'Subscribe' which would mean you PAY FOR IT.

Its all a matter of opinion. Basically, if it is in their sig, its fine. If some newbie came, and started posting ad's for his/her site all over the boards, he/she would be banned. If it is a distinguished, regular member, and no profit would be made from it, we generally let it go.

Swedish owner, Swedish rules. Common sense is a part of the legal system over here. The rules are to be used as guidelines, to avoid that they will be used for stupid discriminations like this. Of course, if the moderator abuses the rules instead, he/she will be punished for it. And furthermore, well put Jamesadin.
