Nvidia GeForce 6800

Just curious is there anything in the world that needs a graphics card that good? I have a radion 9800xt and NOTHING lags at all and the GeForce 6800 is about 3x better o_O

the new unreal 3 engine is supposedly only playable with good framerate on the 6800

I have a radeon also and it does just fine for what I play.

Say you have a 21inch LCD which has a native resolution of 1600x1200. If you play UT2k4 at that rez then you may only be getting about 20-40 fps (depending on the rest of your components). If you want a solid 60-100 fps without any type of interpolation then you will need a 6800. You may get by with a X800 Ati at that rez but IMHO the Nvidia 6800 has retaken the top spot in vid cards, you would be better off going back to Nvidia if you want the best of the best. With the current state of the video card market this info may be way off in a few weeks... who knows.
