I am taking a java class now, well this class kinda expect you to know the very basic stuff about java but I am still a newbi, so anyone have a good website that I can learn the basic stuff about java? Thanks

Just wondering, what compiler you using in the class?

We just had 1 class so I have no idea, what would you recommand?

ya, we start from the basic, we using unix/putty now, and we just playing around with it.

Well I programmed java for awhile(havent for a year now tho), but I was just wondering what was being used. CodeWarrior is what we used.
