One time I had the flu and it sucked.

This new flu will suck too, I bet.

It's killing people.

Btw call it "influenza"... it'll scare people more.

i've never had the flu...(i have only had a flu shot like once I think).

No. Flu (insert not equal sign here) Cold.

Flu=/=cold.

Close enough. Flu's usually cause the person to get a temperature, from my experience, and sometimes throw up. Colds are just like constant sneezing/coughing/runny noses/feeling crappy in general/ect.

Those symptoms all come from your body

Without an immune system you'd feel great all the time, but you'd wake up dead someday.

I dont mind getting the flu, it lets me stay at home, have warm soup served to me, and i get to boss my family around cuzz they cant retaliate cuzz im sick. ;)

very good points, yet you get the body aches, the constant drag of the flu. i'd rather go on with my daily schedule then be hit with the flu.

I don't normally have flu's, although I seem to have a lot of colds...

actually, the flu shot is a medicine for a DIFFERENT type of flu, and if you take it, it will lower your immune system and the NEW virus will take over your body!!!

my nest door neighbor actually died about 2 days ago...(well not from the flu, most likely smoking related..i just cant believe he died though, i knew him for the longest time!!)

Flu shots come from eggs.
