Today during motion picture class, one of my two teachers, let's just call him 1, was all overjoyed, saying his computer just told him he was the 50 millionth visitor, and considering the site he visited was "serious about what they do", he called the other teacher, 2, in and ranted with him for 15 minutes or so about it. Meanwhile, I got a peak on their computer screen, seeing some popup window with the a big, flashing text explaining how they won. "Well, I know a guy who won a cruise from Florida in a similar way", 1 said. So anyway, 2 wants to call some US number they come across in the popup, so I provide them with the US countro code. After a 35-40 minute long phonecall, 2 comes back out, laughing, saying it was most likely a scam as they wanted his credit card number.

Sigh, people. I didn't want to spoil their fun by saying it was just a scam, but I had no idea they would take it seriously enough to make a 40-minute uber-expensive phonecall. Oh well, that was on a school phone anyway, meaning the taxpayers will have to pay for their fun. Pity for them. :)

I know what you mean chruser, my moronic modular teck teachers got a pop-up that said in very convincing language that they had just won a pre-paid trip to the bahamas. The morons actually clicked the thing and started to fill the shit out. Duno what happened though, me and a few others were watching the fools and they closed the teacher work room door and said they were doing something important and to get back to our modules.

God youd think that people who WORK on computers would know better....

They are newblars at computers, they just know how to work with the gay ass learning programs that we are forced to do every week.

Of course it just annoys me when the teacher needs help on her computer and shes asks a student, that shitty nerd kid always raises his hand ready to help.

Teacher: REALLY?! OH MY GOSH. MAYBE YOU SHOULD!
Everyone: WOW! WOW! A FREE TRIP TO DISNEY!
