I recently upgraded from 98 to XP...but for whatever reason XP doesn't see the driver for my sound card. I could easily download it...problem is...i dont know what sound card i have in there...and other than opening it up (which i will i guess if i have 2...) i cant think of any way of figuring out what 2 dl. Ne advice?

GO to my Computer
Then Device Manager, (under control panel) Sound devices see what it is, copy that and paste it to like google... |
Windows button(between CTRL-ALT)+ Pause = My Computer Properties>HardwareTab>Device Manager>Sound Devices... then you have to see which one of those 10-20 options is your sound card. Or if too lazy to check...
Download this utility then after installing it, go to sound card information. It's also a good application too find out any other information about your computer, drivers, hardware, etc... |
