About the hair, long hair doesn't mean girly !

Makeup, yup Kuja has a bit of makeup but then again there is two reason that can explain this. In the animal world, predators use appearance to frighten prey. The tiger, for example, uses stripes. This is a form of psychological offense on the opponent. The red eyeshadow that Kuja wears could create a malevolent effect around his eyes, where red symbolises blood and fierceness to the subconscious mind. Anyway how do we know he wasnt born that way ?

The skin, while it it true Kuja skin is very white in some FMV. This doesn't somehow mean that he's girly. Many of FFIX's characters have pale skin. So Kuja is a tad bit whiter than the others. He's a sorcerer! He doesn't need to go out in the sun to practice magic!

The armour, This aint a boob tube or bikini or anything like that. The top thing Kuja wears is ARMOR. If you look at any picture im sure you can see, it is metallic and very plated looking underneath.

His *Half-Cape*, i have but no idea how to call it. It's the thing suspended by the belts from the hip down. The flowing cape is obviously to hide the fact that he's a genome (his tail). Why is the front bit... bare? Freedom of movement! if he was drenched in tight clothes or metallic armor around the legs too, he won't have the comfort and the speed necessary to avoid blows. He's a sorcerer and doesn't engage in close combat. Therefore speed is preferable to defense. If Kuja was clad in as much clanking plate and mail as Steiner, do you think that Kuja could levitate and move around as quickly?

Yes he wears a thong. All Alexandrian soldiers wear thongs. Ok, so argue that most of these soldiers are female. What about Blank? At least Kuja wears cape-ish thing. Blank has nothing covering his blinking white arse!


His sleeves, Kuja is a sorcerer, not a fighter, he doesn't use his arms the way Zidane does. If Kuja opted to have metallic mail all over his arms, how the hell is he supposed to balance himself with the arms being heavier than the rest of him?

Sorcery = extensive waving of arms. The sleeves add to the overall coolness of casting. He's also got some metal plate thing around his wrist. So Kuja opted for comfort, style and speed, instead of slowing down agility.

The boots, looks like it's made from light but strong material. Kuja doesn't need anything more, cos Kuja doesn't hike. He rides his Nova Dragon or cruising airship.

Kuja gear is not girly. Revealing maybe, but the style is considerate of what he does (running around to cause havoc, destroy, etc).

Sorcerers generally don't look macho anyway. Just accept that he also dresses for beauty and flair.

He is poetic, So Kuja is very poetic. Is there a problem whit that ? Kuja is not like other wild brutes who kill for no particular reason. He isn't stupid. He talks poetically, not everyone may understand. He has a grand way with words. Now some people might call that girly. Im sure some ppl here wouldnt still be using their left hand as sex partner if they were at least a little poetic.

Palace, Kuja palace is girly ? I dont think so. It may look very elaborate and not the usual hovel. The massiveness of the place is supposed to trap unwary and unwelcome visitors. The high ceilings, transparent staircases, puzzles and dead ends are all a huge maze within Kuja's Desert Palace. And to top it all off, the whole palace is sumberged in quicksand. You can't get anymore fortified than that. The furnishings would often reflect what kind of person you are. In this case, it's very elegant and high class, like the palaces of *powerful people*.

Girly or Intelectual ?

Gender check, Kuja is undoubtedly a guy, as his creator stated. He specifically told Zidane that Kuja was his "brother", while "sister" would have been appropriate if Kuja was a girl.

He still maintains the trait of all genomes, that is the tail and the hourglass figure. Even Zidane has an hourglass figure. About the waist, if you have a waist like that you could be a guy, girl or a it, you'd most likely want to show it off.

Im sure anyone decent enought to understand what this mean will know it s nothing sexual it's about Zidane party having done stuff for Kuja. After all they did do everything Kuja planned.

The white knight is Zidane and the princess is Garnet, so in no way it even refer to Kuja.

Kuja is definitely not girly. I'd consider him more eccentric.

He's definitely a more interesting villain than Seifer or Ultimecia.

I find Kuja to be effeminate but I don't take it against him because Square has an "Effeminate Male Villains" fetish and I'm used to it.

I believe he called his dragon "Silver Dragon" though. I take this fact from a line I remember him speaking when he arrives at the Lifa(I could never tell how it was spelled except for the last three letters) Tree. I believe it was like "Silver Dragon, let us watch the scene unfold from the trunk." Bah! I can't remember all of it, just that first part.

Seymour was put in hastilly Raziel. He was suplied so that FFX had a villain. You couldn't call Sin a very important villain, because he couldn't pop-up everywhere. You were supposed to really fight him at the end of the game and Square wanted someone in the game to take the role as "important villain." He would've been way cooler if Square wasn't just looking for a supliment villain.

In a way, I'd call Seymour a mere avatar of Sin. Now, Sin was a pretty cool villain in it's own way. You had no idea what motivated it or how it decided where to strike.

It's spelled I-I-F-A. Pronunciation: ee-fuh. The first letter is a capitalized "i". Like "Iai Strike." It's not "Lai Strike," like most people seem to think.

And I wasn't criticizing Seymour, Kuja`s. I put him in the same list as Golbez and Kefka, therefore I wasn't singling him out. Kuja is a better villain than all of the bad guys I listed, and I know you agree with me. Frankly, I don't know much about Seymour aside from the fact that he has a really lame haircut and the voice actor that portrayed him was terrible. For all I know, he could be much cooler than I remember, considering it was almost two years ago that I last watched anyone play the game. My memory is that he was a pansy, but I could be wrong. Either way, he's not better than Kuja.

Yes it s a feather. If you look at a picture you can tell it s not something he added in his hair it's part of his head ;)

Also in trance many say that Kuja look like a bird.

He does look like a bird from that point-of-view, but in scenes like when he first transforms into Trance Kuja he looks totally sweet!

You can clearly see that after trance there is more feathers.
So he's not defective it's his design.

Well then why didn't all the other genomes have feathers?

For the same reason that Kuja, Zidane and Mikoto are diff. they have diff design.
Kuja is a spellcaster.
Zidane is a fighter.
Mikoto is a ??.

Also genome are all the same as start. They do their regular training untill they are given a soul. They either transform or get modified when they get their soul.

Mikoto would probably be a spell caster. She doesn't seem like a physically strong....genome. She also has an attitude like a magic caster. That sounds weird, but I believe it to be true.

Why Kuja has feathers?! I also find myself glossing over this weird fact. He has designs on his armor/bathing suit/bikinicostume that calls to mind wings. I got really scared when he became Trance Kuja and became even more feathery. But he turned red....could it mean that he's reborn as a god...like a Phoenix bursting free from its cradle of ashes?!
(Super Saiyajin 4 is what comes to mind....XD)

Kuja may look effeminate, but he's got to be the most charismatic villain I've ever met in an FF game. And those clothes...that poetic way of speaking...that superb desert palace...not to mention his other really kick @$$ attributes...combine to make him the perfect gentleman villain with this suave elegance only few other villains could be found guilty of. Kuja is just elegance personified. PERIOD. That was just the way he is.

And why Kuja wears that skirt? I think he wants to hide the fact that he was a genome who used to be Garland's puppet, and his tail was very embarassing for him to have. If I had a tail like that, I'd be very embarassed about it too. And because Garland made him out to be a defect, that's why Kuja hated his tail's existence even more, striving to become a god himself and laying judgment on Bran Bal and Gaia.

i hated the silver dragon/garland/kuja boss fights man i got worked. i hated pandemona fortress cuz i would only get to lvl off those monsters for a little while :'(. I reached that place at like lvl 45 :'(. anyways, zidane + kuja = brothers, even if zidane is a horney thief and kuja is a psycotic ... .... .... psycho. kuja is kewlest dude hes bad ass. SEPHIROTH AND MAGUS AINT GOT NOTHING ON KUJA
