Account Theft

What are your feelings on Diablo II/Warcraft/UO Account theft? Do you think that if you are stupid enough to download the progam its your fault? Do you feel if they download it -- they should get punished for even trying to hack?

I personally am not in anyway against it... and I think its the users fault for actually downloading the program. Many people here know me as a successful... 'hacker'.

Do you think that people who steal accounts should get punished for stealing them? Whats your feelings....?

It really pisses me off when people say they got 'hacked'. It sounds like the most nubbish thing to say ever. But i agree with all of you about it being their own fault.

ehh...well some of the players aren't as informed so i think they got scammed...but those who know about trojans and stuff it is their own fault

MANTRALORD, IM WITH YOU ON THE 1.1 EMAIL THING, BUT I THINK YOU MUST HAVE THE CD-KEY THAT THE PERSON LOGGED ONTO THEIR ACCOUNT WITH, AS WELL AS THEIR REGISTERED EMAIL. BUT IF WE COULD MAKE A PROGRAM THAT SNIFFED THEIR CD-KEY, THAT IDEA WOULD BECOME A REALITY...

Hey TacoX, did you ever steal an Account from Diablo II LOD called f0cker? About a year ago? I check often and the account is still active, but of coarse my password has been changed.

I completely agree.. shouldn't get acc stolen but if your the victem well who wouldn't feel bad.. (unles sa hacker or some other fiends of accounts)
