The only Derek Smart I know of is a game developer... he worked on Star Fleet and Echelon... but he's pretty much known for Battlecruiser games.

I was reading an article on "How to post in a forum" on Something Awful (hysterical piece, I'd definitely recommend reading it) and there was one particular point where the author wrote "if you type 'Derek Smart' three times on any forum he'll magically appear (much like Candyman) and proceed to berate everyone in sight." I thought it was pretty humorous, so I decided to give it a shot.

I hear the guy lives about an hour away from where I live...

good give him a fruit basket with a card on it saying "this is to thank you for all your great games and especially your ad campain". did i mention that you have to put a time bomb in the basket
