Not sure if this belongs in General Convo, but I'll put it here for now although it will probably end up being spammed.

Just curious as to what everybody does to get "in the zone" while they are gaming. I personally have gotta have a cold soda, juice, or water by me at all times. Also, being naked sometimes helps me feel more comfortable and hence do better at games.

But anyways, I posted this to see what other people do, so there go, shoot away.

Personally i just need to be in a decent mood and not be tired. I want to try gaming with caffiene pills sometime....

All I need is a comfortable place to it, and I am good to go. :)

My chair, my desk, my minifridge packed with soda... and it doesn't hurt if the air conditioner is on ( it's loud but relaxing )... and I really haven't paid attention to whether I game better with the lights on or off. Research time!

when i game i usually slouch downin my chair.. being half naked just no shirt or pants n stuff.. cuz when i like to play i like to feel liberated and it feels lik that with clothes.. and cmon mature up zeal... its not like u dont wank off.. we can rip on u for that cuz being naked when u play isnt even a big deal... its human nature to want to feel liberated... so yea.. thats how i play.. ohh.. and ofcourse I often have a handy snack beside me and a pop sometimes too.. just to set the "lazy" mood.

As long as I have my Mouse Systems keyboard and my Microsoft Trackball Explorer and enough space to place them so my left hand sets comfortably above the directional keys and my right on the trackball, I'm good to go. If I'm playing a game I use WASD on, I can lose the keyboard and play with my laptop in my lap. I prefer to game with pants on. The shirt is optional, but I must have pants.

as ling as i have my fav controler with me and some soda and a comfy chair that i can sit for 19 hours :-0

im all about layin on my bed no shirt, fav controler with my laptop next to me so i can do shit online while i play games.im uber ADD and cant do just one thing at a time. and always have a water bottle or sumthin else to drink.

Clean keyboard, new batteries int he mouse, good chair with no hand thing, good posture for my right hand(my desk doesnt let me have a good posture for my right hand so it hurts after a bit)

When i play the specialist, some times i just cant move fast enough...but when i get my gaming on this is what happens

btw i use shinto as name coz its unique, i got the name coz i kill with katana only, no guns for me...so it was Shitno Katana ^^

A beer a blunt and no shirt. I must have pants also because I hate it when my balls stick to my leather chair.

it sucks when you stay sit too long, then your ass starts sweating and the chair gets stinky with the leather

Six pack of beer, many Marlboro Ultra Lights, (I tend to chain smoke when gaming, especially online combat sims) Lights off, sweat pants or shorts, and a T-shirt. And the girlfriend NO WHERE FUCKING NEAR ME, asking dumb questions after some noob dumbass kills me in a Spitfire and I try to punch a hole in the wall :)

;-P i was laughing like crazy when i read that....does this mean that you did that before??? i would of thought the hairs on your balls would keep it from sticking !!! i mean mine is hairy as hell and i cant barely see any skin just hair on me balls :grin:
