Games to Movies
 

Its no secret. Movies based on game SUCK i mean final fantasy(i ran over the dvd with a bulldozer), wing commander(chris roberts what have you done NO), oh god super mario(what do expect from a nintendo platformer) and GULP dungeons and dragon(i will never be able to play a game with that license again). But that said if they ever decide(god please help us) to create another one what game do you think it should be & y

Heh, look at Mortal Kombat, those movies sucked ass. But they still held you interest to see that chars your fight on the consoles on tv.

Make a Diablo Movie. How could they screw it up? It's basically already made for them.

I think the Eternal Darkness movie/ tv series is gonna be great. It's pretty hard to make it look bad.

Tomb Raider I and II both sucked.... I would like to see a game based on DOOM, but they would probably screw that up to.

remember since all these kids are the ones that play those games, the movies CAN NOT be made to violence, look at the movie Resident Evil, if it was a bit more bloodly (and nudity), at least as much as those horror films, dude THAT MOVIE WOULD OF BEEN THE ALL TIME FAVORITE.

Even the street fighter movie with Van Dam guy, that movie would of been better if it was a bit more graffic. BUT nooooo thay had to make it a PG movie !@!!!!!



i but you would of loved the MK movies even more if thay had the fatalities, i mean I would !!

any one see that movie FINAL DESTINATION 2....if that movie and MORTAL KOMBATE was put together (rated at NC17 or X), DAM i would be more than HAPPY to buy a dvd copy for 50 bucks!!!! (i won't even get the boot leg copy, I'll get the original)



SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

we have movies that are XXX, porn, even worst fases of death, yet we can't make movies like MK better. People are expecting movies to get better, and we NOW have technology to make movies better, so when do you think thay can actually make a game/movie that is worth to watch ???

what movies "put together" would make the best "games to movies"

i think,

if we put Mortal Kombat (for the characters and plot), Final Destination 2 (or any horror movie for the violence) and the MATRIX (for the technology and or grafix) .............and probably that movie 75 nurses (for just a little porn to rewind and watch over and over)

we would have the best movie of all time. as off today, at the Weekend Box Office (in three to four days) the movie S.W.A.T. has made $37,000,000.
if MY movie (the movie up above, that i just explained) hit the box office, i think it would have, just a bit over $120,000,000

resident evil to movie is good.

and for FF the movie....if they base the stories on one of the final fantasy series, i think it'll be good.

Resident Evil was cool. Not nearly as violent as it should have been, but still entertaining. Hopefully the next one will be a gore-fest.

Oh, and The Super Mario Bros. movie kicked ass. It was completely disconnected from the games, but it was still amusing. "Uh, sir...the Goombas are dancing."

They should make a movie based on Silent Hill series...

If they did it would be too scary to see. That game is just plain scary.

I agree with Raziel I loved the Super Mario Bros movie. Maybe it was just in a nerdy sort of way, but I liked it. The reason all movies based on games are not good is because they never get the writers for the games to write the movies... if they'd do that, then all game-movies would rock. Though they'd probably be like 20 hours long.
