As for the art ....eh I think Hentai,anime,manga...ALL of it are poor pathetic excuses for artwork. i mean for god sakes lets make 10 different people by changing their hair color and giving them boobs.

...and yes i can talk I'm an artist myself, and by artist I mean "ART", not fucking Porn for 13yr old's

I didnt say that it wasnt art, I just think that it is a low-class of art.

Something that is worth the paper it was drawn on cannot be reproduced in 30 seconds.

I know you didn't ask me, but I think of art being something thought of in the head, like a dream being drawn, modeled or anything those.

Drawings of cars and such isn't art IMO, but that is how I define it.

To me, Art is just a representation, or an expression of beauty. People can have their own unique way to express it, and there are different forms of Art. Certain Art might be very captivating to one, while it means nothing more than a....POS to another. Hmm...I hope I've gotten my point across.

I agree, and what I said is kinda not what I was thinking... if you draw a car, it depends why/how. If you drew a car that comes to you as an idea or fantasy, its art.

I also agree about it being a representation of ones thoughts but, anime is just way to over rated and commercialized. Thus taking away from the beauty.

Beauty is just a quality which gives pleasure to your senses. People will find this quality in different things. To you, maybe it is just another picture, but to some others it may be more than that.

I'm not into anime, to plain and from what I seen, corny(from what i seen!).

Actually, different mangaka have their own style of drawing manga, (and anime..) and those animes/manga are different from each other. Some animes actually aim to present the characters in a realistic way.

Generally, Anime and Manga are plain, but it can be seen as an Art at the same time.

For instance, look at the the lets pretend to be vicious game!, talking like that is somewhat an Art as well...!

Honestly, I would have to say anime is better than most cartoons out there, I guess I dont like cartoons much at all. Maybe some Sponge Bod, Simpsons(anything like it), and such

Heres my opinion: Hentia is porn, useless porn, dirty hot porn. Just like american porno, just in cartoon form, no point really.

Anime is an art, it can be very serious or silly, trigun / cowboy bebop for example.

Well i dont think hentai is a bad thing like any art some ppl like it some dont also i dont get why ppl make sunch a big deal out of that.

I think why some ppl watch it is probably same reason why some watch anime/cartoon it s always based on imagination so i guess some might have a easier time imagining stuff about something that doesnt exist. Like when ppl play a final fantasy game in a way they play a fantasy and i think it s kinda the same whit those who watch hentai well imo anyway. ;)
