What if you made a barb purely for playing vs casters (necros/sorcs) beef him up with frw, and use a 6 socket ethereal elite pole arm (whatever they are called, lance too) with silence runeword (i think silence has indestructable mod) with high reach, would that work? 75 Res from the rune word would help alot, and like 200+ FRW from charms and gear.

maybe ill elaborate more on this later, like what armor to use, probably stealth archon plate if anything.

even with max dr and 1.7k life you die one bezerk .

the best can lose it takes alot of practice so to a skillful barb

Indeed... but is this build viable vs a sorc, thats what im mainly focusing on.

I don't think that will work because of 2 reasons:
- u won't reach 2-nd breakpoint for 2-handed weapons wich is at -60, and u will be hitting very slow with berserk, unless u have a lot of ias on eq.
- silence does not make an weapon indestructible, that was ITH :)

Ever heard of Leap Atack?

vs what? that never works.

I dueled a barb today that did that, and only that, and i owned him, he even used bugged, and i decripped him, about 200 spirits later, hes dead.

he meant leap attack to get over the stupid necro bonewalls, then ur free to go up to them, zerk their azz and 1 hit em

While barb leap attack the necro just move a little cast a few bone spirit and move on whit the strat i was saying. The only thing it do by using leap attack is waste a little mana he still get hit by bone spirit.

Do you have a barb? I'm pretty sure even with 500 ping I could beat 99% of the barbs on east right now, Excluding throwers, u need some quick reflexes/ping for that -.-

Yeh throwers are really a prob specially if they have 2X ghosty spears o q OUCH
