the worst ps2 games

What is the worst ps2 game? A game that made you want to kill yourself for renting or borrowing it. Mine is Street Fighter EX3. The graphics were apauling. The controls were like something from Genesis or an old console. I bought the piece of shit and you know what, instead of giving or selling it to anyone I dumped it in a coffe can with some papers and burned the mother fucker. That's how bad the game was.

One word - Oni!

Senesia 2003-06-07 07:45 PM

Snk vs. Capcom 2.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-07 07:51 PM

Hey I liked that game Senesia. Oni sucked though

VComegasin 2003-06-07 08:33 PM

Actually, that is quite true. Snk v.s. Capcom 2 is cool, because I actually know all the characters. But Oni just sucked to hell, the control sucks, graphic sucks, it just blows!

NonGayMan 2003-06-07 08:36 PM

I never really played a game that sucked that bad, so I can't really vote.

Senesia 2003-06-07 08:55 PM

Snk vs. Capcom is more like KoF vs. Capcom.

Yeah, there are Hibiki, Haohmaru, Nakoruru from non-KoF games, but I don't think that's enough.

Some of the characters graphics don't match the backgrounds. Maybe they do, but some of them give me a weird feeling visually.

I'd rather play Guilty Gear X2..

Edit:

I do regret playing the game. Well, my BF owns it. So I didn't spend any money in fact.

Armored core 2... i rented it played it once took it back, i hated the controls and the game entirely.

Metal gear solid 2, i bought ps 2 to play this game, i thought it would own as much as mgs1 but no, it sucked i beat it in 5 days wasnt a challenge at all.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-08 04:22 PM

misread your post. Mgs2 was better than 1 in my opinion. For the sake of staying on topic FF10 was a disapointment.

VComegasin 2003-06-08 06:36 PM

No way! Final Fantasy X was another big improvement for the FF series, being a true fan and always have, it was pretty good to be frankly!

Tai 2003-06-11 02:13 PM

FFX was definately bad. And they're just working on hype now instead of quality like they used to. Oh well, its what usually happens when a small company gets huge like that.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-11 02:23 PM

Eco.

Raziel 2003-06-12 05:19 AM

Yeah, FFX was just crap. The series peaked with FFIX.

I don't play enough PS2 games to make a very educated statement about my least favorite of the bunch. I'll just go with FFX as being my least favorite. I've only played six or seven PS2 games overall, and I disliked FFX much more than any of the others.

Xenosaga. It's more of a movie than a game. I mean, I rent a game to PLAY it, not watch it.

EDIT: Belay that, Primal is worse.

uncapped 2003-06-13 01:51 PM

Xenosaga was great. I don't know what your talking about.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-13 02:39 PM

Xenosaga kicked ass. Primal sucked.

Raziel 2003-06-13 06:01 PM

RS made this same complaint when the game was released. He doesn't like the game becuase of the half-hour long FMVs. I've gotta agree with him to some point. I like good cutscenes, but if the overall play experience of the game is reduced because of the cinematics, then there is a serious problem in the game's design.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-13 06:04 PM

The game was cool. I like good cinematic game. What's wrong with the design?

Senesia 2003-06-13 06:09 PM

I would rather play Xenosaga then FFX...

I enjoyed all the cutscenes, to be honest. Yes, there were a lot of long cutscense. 20 minutes to half-an-hour. However, they didn't really get in the way of the gameplay...in my opinion.

I'd rather have shortened gaming hours than long, boring, recurring, leveling kind of gaming experience. (FF10)

Agreed.
