Which is better Americas Army, or Counterstrike
 

Ive never played Americas Army but I play CS daily, ive heard AA is cool, but Im not sure, some of my friends say its cool, some say it sucks, i was wondering if someone could help me out..:confused:

Depends on what you're looking for. When it came out for DL, I got it, and didn't think much of it. I'm a loyal CS fan myself.

On the other hand, SYG loves AA. The main thing you have to consider is if you want realism. AA is more realistic than CS. The guns are less accurate. They will jam. The action is MUCH more slow paced.

I can't stand any of that myself, so I stick to CS. The most unrealistic fun you can have in a first person shooter.

aa is realistic, it all depends on your preference if you like realistic gameplay, or all in 1 fun shoot em up style... aa does require camping, and if your willing to have patience for realism, then aa is for you, but if you dont like waiting for rounds or to pick someone off... cs is for you...

get em both, besides, dont you ever get bored of the same thing?

I dont know why peopel like counter strike so much.....it got shit graphixs......Once i Dled HL then CS mod and that shit looked like atari graphixs.......+gameplay was kinda ghey , same maps over and over

i like fast paced gameplay myself, so ill stick with cs

cmon guys... cs is the best fucking game ever.. and maybe d2 and sc and wc3.. and all those blizzard games.. but in this category CS pwns all. and.... duke nukem 3d ^_^

AA isnt close as good as CS.

Um.. download some more maps?

There are probably 100 maps with good playtime on different servers.

Man your dumb, it has bloody awesome graphics, you have a shit graphic card if you say CS graphics suck, I think i will stick with CS, i hate slow games, so annoying..:mad:

If you have HL, or CS retail, download Day of Defeat v1 Mod. That owns AA also!

aa i love more then cs because it is soo much more realistic, but i quit when they had problems with peoples accounts, and i had to redo missions every logout just to play... so i quit...

but cs tends to piss me off cause so many people hack, games that require skill are not good to hack as apposed to games like d2...

That's why valve is making an effort to prevent hacking in CS

Hacking is CS will always be, no matter what. There are hacks for AA, dont think their isnt.

Counter-strike people don't like campers, it is usually a fast connection, and it's fast paced action. AA = camping the whole time ( and if you get shot first you gotta wait like 10 minutes before you can play again , and if some has sniper rifle and you can't use it you usually die no chance ), and I noticed that alot of AA servers are slow as crap when more than 8 people get into them which makes them obsolete to CS servers, and the action is not fast pace. CS also has alot more maps and alot better graphics, and there are alot more servers to choose from. Oh, and CS has alot more weapons to choose from.

It simple terms CS > AA, but T2 > CS. So keep that in mind too.

Tribes 2? Rofl. That's all I can say.. Rofl

lol Tribes2 is more fun and hack free than any other first person shooter I know of. I can relax and just have a great time no matter what. If you want to be a sniper on mods like Shifter and RevMod2, you need skill, none of that awp pussy shit.

I prefer AA because it s realistic in that game you have to know when to move and when to wait. If u just camp or you trying to be some james bond you will go down

even though i never played AA but i will whenever i get a new comp i will still probably say counterstrike but ya never know

Well I played Half-Life a long time ago with some friends, they kept kicking my ass with some crossbow or whatever that kills in one hit and it's like a sniper bow or something.

I got tired of it, but I never played CS.
