i would u can get cheap like renta server thingies for 83$ a month... wut zel was down for close to a month right no biggy. i mean u dont even need that just go out and buy a crappy comp hook it up to ur DSL/Cable/T1 or w/e chruser has and load just the VBulliten stuff on it. w/e im not a server xpert so i cant say nything but if i thought zel was like worth 83$ a month for like 2 months i would do it (not sayin zel isnt good just sayin isnt worth my 83$ that could goto potasium nitrate)

So... now that it's back up, is it gonna stay up?:confused:

Okay, here's the situtation as it stands. Zelaron is now on an owned server, meaning that we own the box it is running on. We have a co-location deal with our second host which means that our box sits in his space in a data center and gets power and internet connection for the fee we pay. Since we own the server, we no longer have to worry about server overloading by other parties or arbitrary server moves. Basicly, this is a permenant solution.

However, the forums may go down for brief periods of time in the next month as we seek to optimize performance.
