Bored!! Help!!
Dude i was a hardcore Diablo2 fan and it consumed much of my time, but lately its been overtaken by mindless drones only interested in making money off of bugged items and shit!" So i need a new game. Ne suggestions of another bad ass Rpg? (Can't play games with monthly fee. im broke :(). lol hurry :) im so fuxoring bored!!

lol. Ex-Mania im not a total newb. I know what B.Net is :) remeber i play D2. Ne way i do have Sc Brood War. and i play cs alot too. It's just that b/t D2, Sc, and Cs it kinda gets boring. I just wish i could find another awsome Rpg that i could get lost in the story line. (Rpg that i could waste countless hours tryin to beat).
Played Bg, Bg2, Nwn, Q3, Cs, D1, D2, Ut, Ut 2003, Wc1, Wc2, Wc3, and countless other games (Sorry for all the abrv.). I need a good Rpg!! :) Please Help!! |

Try runescape. I've played like about 1 year (last login was 114 days ago lolz), and I still haven't beaten the final quest (dragon slayer, lvl 110 monster that does 60 dmg ranged if you dont wear anti-dragon breath shield). Although the movement and battle system are kinda weird, you can fish, mine ores, smith the ores (therefore making your own gear), cook, use magic, you can steal (member only), make bows (member only, non-memb get short,long bow's + crossbow + pheonix gang crossbow only), make potions (strength pot is non member, rest are member). Theres diff type of fishing gear, diff types of food, diff types of magic, theres "auras" that effect you only.
Main member stuff: Tons more quests, more than 2x non memb. Dragon gear (dragonstone, dragon weapons + armor) 3 new fish (Lava eel + Shark + Bass) Tons of new monsters (strongest is lvl 199, king blue dragon) More spells avail for usage (still displays on non memb, but cannot use blood rune and 1 other rune) Still more, just cant remember what. www.runescape.com |
Lots of new stuff coming out for consoles. Dark Cloud2 , .hack//infection and liminity, and the other two later this year, xenosaga, mario 128 i hear, amongst other things. :D

NukeZone( browser-based not necessarily text-based), any good HL mod ( Natural Selection, AHL, The Specialists, etc. ), any RTS ( SC, Command and Conquer games, Warcraft I, II, III, etc. ), find a Beta of an MMORPG :D, Battlefield 1942, ... well you get the idea.
