nice! lol slug looks kool and same with the robot, what is it a zel-bot?

Randuin 2002-12-02 09:06 PM

ya! zelbot! :D

Shpook 2002-12-03 12:37 AM

Well, the background and the "Zelbot" do not belong in the same picture. The bacground looks pretty kool tho, considering.

The app...slug looks sort of weird. Looks like a mutated apple. Pretty kool tho. :D

Randuin 2002-12-03 08:58 AM

well the slug was really fast i basically took a cone rotated so the bottom was flat on the ground smoothed one side and extruded the horns and applied some crap material :D

It's all just basic shapes, extrusions, and premade textures slapped together.

Randuin 2002-12-03 09:24 PM

the robot was made with one single robot

Bezier 2002-12-03 09:29 PM

Both are very unrealistic. The snake looks too flat on the bottom, and not enough of a shadow to make it seem close to real. The robot has no texture and is just boxes/squares/quads -- whatever you want to call them. It also doesn't go well at all with the background. I would reconsider working on normal robots before making a "Zel bot".

an update on the zelbot... a little improvement i guess...

The Z doesn't fit at ALL. Also, that's not really a robot texture. Go with wires and clean metal that doesn't look like stone for a start.

A tad bit better than the first version though. ~_~

heh ya that's what i thought too :D looks more in tact :D
