Negative. First of all, Ultima was better in the older FF's. In the new ones, it's a spell. In FF3, Ultima was GODLY. Secondly, spire ownz it because, Frog -- think of it, a frog -- Jumps High into the air and STABS his sword - Masamune II - into the enemy's BRAIN. Then LIGHTNING Strikes the Sword! PWNZZORED!!!!!1

First off, Ultima in FFIX was only cast once in the whole game, by the main bad guy.. it was a useable spell like in FF6

No explination whatsoever given to why Spire "sucks shit" or Aptipode 3 is the "Best spell" so definately not "Nuff said."

Yeah, but don't you need weak-ass Marle for that?
My only problem with having her in the party is that she dies too quickly.

Actually Marle dies less often than Crono does.. I give her Moon armor.. 1/3 magic block.. plus she has like 97 magic resist anyway

Also, Antipode 3 hits all targets on the screen, and does about 4000 damage to weak little lvl 1 monsters.. while spire does about 2600 to a single target.. spire looks cool but to use it you need frog.. I shutter at the thought of using frog.. lucca has mega bomb which fucking rapes most robots.. and marle is healing, plus they have ice sword and fire sword 2.. both of which own with crono..

Yeah, antipod is great. I often switched Robo for Marle in boss battles.

Umm, i enjoyed switching to the chars for the White Rock tripletech. who was it? Frog, Chrono, and Ayla? I dunno, been 4 years since I played. My normal party was Marle, Chrono, and Magus. Marle was very good for her heal techs.

My party was always Magus, Chrono, and Frog/Robo (it didn't really matter which one). Oh, and Magus owns.

You're right about Ultima being godly. Comet was also godly too, as you could see Final Fantasy II, where it was so godly that the caster either nearly died, or did die.
