best pvp class?
 

i just traded an ist rune for a dirty SS and Shaft and i just wanted to know what kind of pvp char owns the majority of people with a SS. plz include stat and skill alotment along with what other equipment i need fot the class.

No... The most entertaining way to duel is to build a character to specificly duel the same type of character.

If you just want n00b duels build a shaft/face barb.

i think the best class to utilize those two items would be a dr sorceress using shako/shaft/storm for maximum dr
the stats would be 156, if you use one with hel, or a -15% req jewel it will require 133 strength
enough dexterity for max blocking after +stat, vitality whatever is left, energy 50
your'e going to need alot of +stat
i reccomend thundergods vigor, dual ravenfrosts, perfect maras, war travlers, Ik, shako

thats over all +57 strength, +67 dexterity, +7 vitality, +7 energy
if you are alright with using dupes use soulspurs instead

put a -15% req/second mod jewel preferably +15 all resists
put um/15 all res/2nd mod jewel in wizardspike
put shael in the shako and shaftstop for the second breakpoint for faster hit recovery (helps prevent getting arrow locked)
the skill allocation would best (imo) for a ts/orb sorc
max ts/lit mastery orb/+5 coldmastery, 1 to all prerequisites,
max warmth

use 10 serpents of vita charms ,(+17 mana, +20hp)

for casting energy shield, and thunderstorm use oculus sojs lidwall and 10 lit skill charms, and a powered amulet, and powered circlet, thats level 42 ts/23 energy shield (level 1 energy shield)
then switchj to 10 cold skill charms with 2nd mods
vita, +hp, or of strength/dexterity to help meet those requirements
at level 99 you should be pumping out
3400 ts dmg, 65% energy shield, 463 orb damage
all maxed cold/lit resist's, 40% cold absorb, about 1000 mana
1400 hp

i think apoq summed it up quite well although if your gonna be a pk sorc u might wanna invest in a 08 shako for the massive life boost and a 08 arcaines which will give u the +2 skills and even more life my pk sorc is using both and has around 3900 life at lvl 94 so yeah apoq summed it up quite well

Man no one is that rich to afford all those especially when the guy said he traded ist for dirty ss and shaft........he probably well knows that .08 shako and arkanes is the way but it expensive and duped.

not all are duped.........i know alot of people who still have there 08 arcaines and shakos and are going for around 20-40$ on ebay

not all but 99% of them are duped, i know I MYSELF duped hmmm 100 of them in total...guess that accounts for a large portion of some that might be out their, not to mention i still have 2 .8 shako's left...

Yeah i know that .08 is the way to go but i am too poor to get all of that stuff because my god that is a lot of stuff that i need to trade for total cost is what 90+ soj lol. I think i will just try a dr sorc but i probaly wont have uber stuff I will probaly use my SS and occy, shaft, shako, 2 soj, smoke belt, and a mara's ammy cuz that wont be too bad the only thing i will need to get will be a shako. what are some good sorc boots to wear? And my god that is a lot of life for a sorc O_O
I have never seen a person besides a barb have that much life.

well lets say she has 300 vitality at level 99
and she has 500 hp in charms
thats enough for 4k hp

Alternate PvP sorc build:
1.09 Shako with UM
10 %fcr +2 sorc skills amy (life, mana, resists, would be nice)
1.09 Oculus sock. with 15% all res, + life and/or mana jewel
Vipermagi perfect
SS socketed with -15% req, +15 all res
1 SOJ, 1 Ravenfrost
Tal rasha Belt
Frostburn gloves
Waterwalk boots or good rare boots.
4 Charms with light. skills
serpents small charms of vita
and some FHR charms with + mana, or res.

thats just cookie cutter, and unless you can take more than one hit whats the point of being able to recovery fast from it?
frosties are just compensation for not having enough mana, 900 can be enough mana. ( i have 1200 without frosties, and base nrg)
absorb is bs unless you are full absorb...
tals belt is also bs no helpful mods except 20 dex but if you're going to use that other stuff it isnt enough compensation
belt is just used to get as many stat places as possible (thundergods 20 str/vit)
having a 10fcr amulet would not take you to the next fcr bp, there for tals/maras amulets would be more effective

Actually it would take u to the next lvl of fcr, because u would have 70 % fcr, and there is a fcr bp at 63. The belt is used for 20 to dex and dmg taken goes to mana.
at lvl 91 i have aprox. 1450 life, 1400 mana, 45 % dmg red, she's faster than most dr sorcs.
And u can survive much more than 1 hit, with this type of sorc, of course if the other chars are legit.

dmg taken goes to mana is WORTHLESS..
its just compensation for get hit by physical attacks.
which should NOT happen
i would switch to tals amu/maras and get a fhr/str/hp/res/fcr belt craft'd it would help alot more

I have yet to find/craft such a godly belt, with all this stats.

i have a godly ass belt with stats like that and 24% fhr:)
btw the .8's have 15% fcr

I have a crafted sorc ammy that has +1 skills, 15+resists in three places and one with like 30+, 72 life, 8% faster walk, and one other thing i think. Would you use that or maras?

i would use maras...
cronic i recently saw a 24fhr 15 fcr 19 str 48 hp belt...
the person sold it for 3 unid wf's and the rest filled with wizspike rings...

my sorc got:
shako (sheal)
vipermagi (sheal)
wizardspike (jo) and storm (sheal) vs ama
oculus and lidless (um) vs sorc
waterwalks
2*sojs or 2*ravens or 1*raven 1 soj
magefists
perfect mara's
thundergods or 10% fcr crafted belt

i have 8 coldskill charms and 1 lightning
and 13 sc of vita 18+ life
still need life on my skill charms
im lvl 90 and have about 900 life and 1400 mana

what legit options do i have to improve gear?

Jah shaft and shako maybe?

Or keep magi but ber the gear to get max or close to max Dr.
