Are you going to purchase Diablo III when it is released?
I most definitely am. Cancelling WoW and going all out with Diablo III. I figure between writing cover letters and tailoring resumes, I can get a good amount of playing time in.
I'd say we should get a Zel clan going, but I don't know if we have enough members to field one! :haha: |
Only if I got some help learning the game.
It's just point and click like the other two, no?
As far as I have read they are making it quite similar to predecessors, so my guess is yes.
Yes, point and click. Which I think is lame, they should've just incorporated into an identical form of WoW, including camera angles/etc.

Agreed. While I couldn't get "into it" when I played Diablo 2, I'm going to give Diablo 3 a try. However, I don't want to play WoW. I tried it and hated it. I'd rather play Perfect World than WoW.

U mad?

ffffuuuuuuuu-

Oh lawdy is that some fochan?

.....
when the FUCK IS DIABLO 3 COMING OUT!? I just bought another TV to use as my monitor and want to fucking use it -____-
I signed up for the year of warcraft. I'll be getting a digital copy when it's released.
I did the same, even though I don't really play WoW anymore. I figure an easy preorder, guaranteed access to the next WoW expansion beta, and a year of WoW in case I decide to play was a decent price. I very well may start playing WoW again, especially if the new expansion doesn't suck.

D3V, playing WoW on my big screen kicks ass; I can't imagine how often I'll have to clean it off from all of the excitement when D3 comes out. Enjoy that sucker once you hook it up; a regular monitor is just plain disappointing afterwards, ha! |
1080p is disappointing compared to 2560x1600
Maybe my eyes just suck but I can hardly tell the difference between 1920x1080 and 2560x1600 without being incredibly close to the screen. Honestly, IMO, the hardware cost required does not justify the small improvement. Especially when we are talking about a 42" display that will most likely not be right up in your face.
Probably. But for a 30" screen that sits on your desk, it's a huge difference.
Use HDMI cables.
Omg, we were playing Skyrim without them, then when we went and got them we were like "was there an update, or did we just leap into the future?" |
Be sure you use the gold plated monster cables. The conductivity of gold makes it an excellent upgrade to increase picture quality.

EDIT: All three of my setups are 1080p, and one of them uses a crappy 25 foot cable. The only one that EVER gives me issues is the 25 foot cable but the issues are limited to rapid movement and don't bother me enough for me to want to spend 10x as much on a Monster cable. EDIT2: There are also "good" cables that aren't stupidly priced like Monster cables. EDIT3: You obviously don't know what you are talking about since you said "the conductivity of gold makes it an excellent upgrade". Gold is less conductive than copper (it has only ~70% of the electrical conductivity.) The reason they gold plate the cables is to resist corrosion. If they were going for conductivity they would go with silver (which is only slightly more conductive than copper, having 105% of the conductivity of copper.) Monster cables are definitely more durable than the average cheap cable, I'll give you that. |
Whether or not you were serious, your statement was incorrect, and it seemed like just the sort of thing you would say.
Thanks for the clarification, K_A. Perhaps I should browse around for better cables; although my picture is good compared to others I have seen.
If you've got a good picture, you probably aren't going to notice a change by upgrading your cable, even if you were to compare them side-by-side. I guess it never hurts to try, though, especially if you can find somewhere that will let you return the cable if you decide it wasn't worth the cost.
Yes, going to buy this game. Several copies actually...
OMG! It's Mr.Lee!

Definitely getting D3. For sure. I've been looking forward to it since I heard of its development! :).
