Internet Speeds
 

Living in BFE I have the honor of having some of the worst internet available. We just picked up Century Link using a copper line.

Package is a 1.5 MB speed, garuntee 80% of that, so roughly 1 MB.

When I download something say, from steam, or a song from youtube. My max is around 160 KB/s.

Why is my actual download speeds no where near what is offered?

** Found out that the service we ordered was 1.5 Mb not MB. Huge difference.
