Warcraft Tournament (FREE Download)
 

NedoK hoster of the IW2PL thing last season which featured over 120 different players competing in tournaments to gain overall points for the season will be hosting a Tournament on http://server.war2.ru

So you can come and play with the free download of War2Combat that is posted on the site, and get any of your friends you know who live around you to play.

Now on to the tournament.

DATE/TIME: 29th of October (this sunday) at 6:00PM Eastern EST. It will be held in the NEW server (server.war2.ru) in the channel "Tournament". Easy to find.

The Tournament will be played on a variety of speeds, maps and resources. Match settings will be preset at the begining of the tournament and will be selected from the following map pool:

-Garden of war.pud
-Garden of warBNE.pud
-Bridge to bridge combatBNE.pud
-Fierce ocean CombatBNE.pud
-High Seas CombatBNE.pud
-one_vs_one.pud (comes with War2Combat program)
-Gold Seperates East and West.pud
-Great white north.pud
-All You Need.pud
-Plains of SnowBNE.pud

Resources will include High, Low, Medium, and/or Random.

Speeds will be on Even Faster and Fastest

Never played D1. Friend told me it was gay cause you couldn't run.

Well you walk pretty fast so it isn't all that noticeable.

Diablo 1 beats Diablo 2 when it comes to being classic. Diablo 2 has better gameplay though. Still, Diablo 1 was awesome.

Yes people still play. Please download it and play with us this Sunday.

Because I'd rather play WC2 than WoW or Halo or some other better game.

Reminder: The Tournament is today.

You had to walk everywhere, and when you died, you dropped all of your shit, so other people could take it.

Which can be fixed with the right "mods". There's plenty that make it where you dont drop everything when you die. Also, the walking speed wasn't as bad as it sounds, the world was much smaller compared to D2 so it's pretty proportional actually.

Also, I played single player when I was serious about playing. Battle.net was just full of hackers and PKers(not even legit PKers, but the kind that have hacks that kill you in one click and such.) Multiplayer in general was pretty flawed. There were no party options of any kind, meaning you get experience for what you kill no matter if you have someone with you or not. Not only that, but sorcerer spells and rogue's arrows damage not only monsters, but any people that get in the way, and that can be a real pain in the ass.

First off thanks again everyone for making this first week of Ladder such a success. We have had numerous people with the #1 spot so far!

Now I want to get onto the news with how this season will end. Since the first one is such a short one I figured it would be neccesary.

What is going to happen is the Top 13 players ranked in ladder will be qualified to enter the GOW $$ Tournament on December 23rd. There will be two other qualifying Tournaments. On December 9th there will be a 2x2 GOW BNE High Fastest tournament where the team who wins will advance into the $$ Tournament. Then on December 16th there will be a 1x1 Tournament on GOW EF High Classic settings. Winner of that Tournament will also advance into the GOW $$ Tournament.

So what does this mean? Try your best to ladder and work your way up the rankings!

Note: At the end of the season if you are around ranks 14-25 be sure to show up. Incase someone does not show up we will move you into his place (highest rated will move in first) until we fill up the 16 brackets.
