Very nice lighting. I approve.

Did you ask them if you could splatter their photos on a gaming forum?

!King_Amazon! 2008-06-25 02:50 PM

Learn how to center a camera.

I made these photographs, for copyright sake, as long as I'm not profitting off these pictures I can post them wherever I like without a model release.

I know the rule of thirds. I don't see how that's related to the pictures you posted. The rule of thirds doesn't apply to any of them.

I got paid to do this so...

Willkillforfood 2008-06-27 06:30 PM

No, being able to post it everywhere without permission.

The only permission you need to SHOW it off is by the creator of the photograph. Which is me.

!King_Amazon! 2008-06-28 03:27 PM

I don't think that's really true whenever you do commision work. You cease to be the owner of the work when someone else pays you for it.

Coriander 2008-06-28 04:22 PM

I highly doubt a couple would want there most precious day splattered about the internet by the person who took the photos. YOU'RE not the one in the photograph, and like !K_A! said, they own the pictures now.

WetWired 2008-06-28 04:42 PM

Actually, usually the photographer retains the rights as Randuin said.

Yeah, usually the only rules that apply are public display of individuals that don't consent. For example, if the people in the background we're more visible, public display would become an issue, unless proper permission was gathered.

Our art teacher made sure we knew this.

Your art teacher is dumb :V

You only need a model release if you were profitting off a display of an image. Since I'm not profitting in any way or form by posting them here on this forum, I do not need to consult anyone for permission. Even if they deny the worst they can do is to stop commissioning from me.

And trust me, all girls want to do is whore their picture all over the fucking internet.

Coriander 2008-06-28 08:26 PM

....... Not even going to comment on it..... J00 Sux

No, when you sell prints you only sell the print, not the rights to the creative distribution of said photographs.

Oh, cool then. Don't mind me, I didn't fully understand what I was talking about.

Wallow 2008-06-29 04:56 PM

So Randuin, you are a photographer...do you take nude pictures too?
