Nice little scam story
 

I saw an adv like ** need arkaine 08 offer many sojs ** and just whispered the guy. No answer.

6/7 minutes later he whisp back. 'What's your last offer ?' , I say 30 and he says '35, ok ?' ...... strange....:confused:

he makes the game, i join, open trade, show arkain, he puts 1, 2, 3 sojs and he stops. " ooops ", closes trade, goes to stash "i need other char sorry, brb" then leaves the game.

OMFG ! he want to delete my stuff... :[
I load another char, do the trade trick then leave game.

Then he whipers back. 'can't join the game' 'game is full' 'come on abcd//123'....

OMFG ! i will laugh !!! there I go ! :D

i join his 2nd game , open trade and he start to put 1, 2, 3 sojs while i put my 08 arkaine. :]

he just has time to say 'DAMN' that i leave the game.... :fire:

the funniest is that he whipered me again to ask how i did to have not deleted my itemS first time , coz he had shako 08 deleted too now.. LOL !!

May be i'm just dumb... but i didn't really get that? You can delete items? WTF?:confused: :confused: :confused:

ummm Randuin either you don't play Diablo 2 or you dont use dupes. But just to clear things up for you. If you have more then one of the same item (dupe) in the same game the first one to leave keeps his dupe and everyone who leaves after gets theirs deleted.

So what the guy tried to do to User Name #1 is leave the game with his own .08 valor and make UN1 come to a new game (therefore deleting UN1s valor when he left the game after the other guy)

#1 when did this happened?

i thought u can't use d2loader to load 2 d2 and join same game no more.

Ahh... I play d2... but not with dupes! I'm legit!!! Muahaha :D

it happened lats night. Yes you can still load 2 chars in one same game, you just need 2 differents CD_KEY.

omg ever heard of a spell checker or dictionary?

The forums have a spell checker feature :)

yeah was a nice scam i didnt get it though hehe why would someone want to deleter others items?

he told me that he got some stuffs deleted after playing, and he said that he couldn't stand the dupers because there was too many same items. He just wanted to ' clean ' the realm of many dupes.
I also read some kind of post in a forum (month ago), arguing the same thing and asking for people to do go on every cow/bloodyrun or pvp/pk game to erase lot of same godly items.

yes you can delete items if the same 2 dupes in game they can get deleted unless u temp/perm them
