The Empire State Building shooting: a pretty weird story
 

In case you aren't familiar with the circumstances, a disgruntled ex-employee returned to his former office and shot and killed his coworker.

Read this article detailing the grudge between the shooter and his ex-coworker. It's fascinatingly bizarre.

During the shooting, 9 bystanders were also shot. All by nearby police.

I think it's funny that the cops shot 9x more people than the suspect.

But but but if everyone had guns then violent shootings would be stopped before they began!

Yah, that was my response too. Clearly this situation called for more guns!

Actually, I believe this was a situation that calls for a tank.

I guess having more guns and trained professionals really didn't help out the gun problem situation.

I went to rep this but got told I need to spread the love before I rep you again.

I was actually pretty close to the area when it happened. I didn't hear the gunshots (in NYC you really cannot hear anything) but heard all the sirens.

The most depressing thing in the world? There are people out there who actually believe that.

It was Christian Straight Edge Republicans who did it.
