vBulletin Board of the Month
 

As you might have heard, every month, five boards are nominated for the vBulletin board competition, and a voting thread will be up for the license owners alone at vBulletin.com.

These are the nominated boards for the vBulletin board of the month competition (it starts the 1'st next month):

Our competing theme will be Synthesis, so I could use a couple of quick suggestions from you guys before October.

I just wanted to add that we are one of the only GOOD unique boards there... the rest are.... RAVIO.... if you know what the hell that means.

add icons to EVERY forum to make it uniform... right now its tacky

will they be taking in all the extras we have, like the radio, etc. Or just the forum itself?

Gamerslive is decent, so is leetsome, but todayshost and totalanime just plain suck.

Oh and my opinion for us.. PUT THE SUBFORUMS BACK AS SUBFORUMS! It looks so much tidier, plus you don't have that ICON/NO ICON/NO ICON/ICON/NO ICON/NO ICON.. etc stuff going on.

I agree with xenn wit the subforum idea...

but leetsome is just plaine ugly

I think they're all very well put together.. to win we need to find a nice image for all forums, reenact sub forums, and possibly do some cool postbit shit like you were showing me Chruser... *was I not supposed to mention that? O_O *

I honestly think the other ones don't stand a chance. Not only do we have a kickass scheme, but we have a really tight postbit feature implimented... Chruser is also making some changes soon because of input from me. lol So, well see how it turns out.

Right, not only is Zelaron active, but Synthesis looks tight. :)

I think we should totally remove those images next to the forum names though...

is it just me or.....when you use the scrollbar on the right by clicking on the back part, ie not the slider itself......it turns an ugly brownish.....is it supposed to do that? cause it doesnt seem to fit with the rest of the theme

You're right. It turns a light shit brown color... :-/

Finishing up the icons next to the forum titles is the only thing I can think of.

Perhaps someone can come up with the missing icons? The sizes are 40x40 and 80x80. We need them for:
General Mayhem
Radio Zelaron
Hosted

Also an 80x80 for search results would be nice.

Whoever makes the radio icon try not to use an OLD radio cause for some reason im picturing that old brown 1970's radio *shudders*

General Mayhem- Maybe a checkmark or some thing on fire. That would work I guess

Radio- A radio, or a music note

Hosted- A house or something.

How about we get rid of the ugly little things alltogether? :)

Actually, SYG produced most of the pics. I just spent all the time making the hack to support them.

I know you helped too SYG. I was in the IRC room when they first went up and we discussed it all.

they should remove it... at least for the board of the month thing... or at least make them blend better with synth
