DC, PS2, XBOX and GC emulators?

Do they even exist at all, and if so, where can I find them?

GameCube 2002-02-28 09:05 PM

User Name # 1 2002-03-03 10:39 AM

Dc emul is crappy
Xbox / Gc / And ps2 are too young console, i don't think good emul are made at this time...

Chruser 2002-03-03 12:08 PM

What about a GBA emulator?

User Name # 1 2002-03-03 12:17 PM

same thing, i guess
too ' young' to be goodly emulated.

GameCube 2002-03-03 03:34 PM

i got a GBA emu. its called Dream GBA.

Dmaster 2002-03-20 01:18 PM

Yea the X-Box games are multi-layered, meaning you need a DVD burner to burn em ( I know we're talking about emulators here ) but what I am saying it the technology isn't much explored yet.

GameCube 2002-03-27 07:16 AM

so, a comp can still read it if it has a DVD drive. most DVDs are multilayered.

Chruser 2002-03-27 07:20 AM

So, what about the emulators?

GameCube 2002-03-27 07:23 AM

you can probably copy the ROMs then.

GameCube 2002-03-27 07:23 AM

but it takes a while to make an emulator; someone is probably working on one now.

User Name # 1 2002-03-27 10:42 AM

yes, it takes time to do it good, especially with new console generation. Look at the Dreamcast, console is dead now, and still have no good emul yet, probly none will be, in fact.

Teddybearian 2002-03-29 04:32 PM

Teddybearian 2002-03-29 06:11 PM

http://boycottadvance.emuunlim.com/

GameCube 2002-03-30 12:02 PM

is that just a GBA ROM site?

HLomegasin 2002-03-30 11:15 PM

ian... you rule..right~

GameCube 2002-03-31 01:59 PM

who rules?

Teddybearian 2002-04-02 02:39 PM

me and the site is http://emu.online.tj.cn/emu_roms/gba/ :D

HLomegasin 2002-04-02 03:58 PM

-PS2 Emu is "TOO GOOD TO BE USED"
-The Xbox and Game3's EMU have not yet been out
-Best Emu now for PS-VGS
N64-Project 64
GBA-DreamGBA
and other EMU which people don't often use.

Raijin Z 2002-04-02 06:22 PM

GBA Emulation is -perfect- less than a year after the system was released. Pretty funny, eh? You can even put your roms and save files on flash carts and resume play on the go with your genuine GBA. Pretty nifty, eh?

HLomegasin 2002-04-02 08:00 PM

Thanx for the correction!

GameCube 2002-04-02 08:51 PM

how do u put the save games on flash carts?

HLomegasin 2002-04-02 09:59 PM

Flash Card is actually "taking hard drive" file. You make a file, it flash memorize it(SAVE IT), then next time you recall that file, you are back again!

GameCube 2002-04-03 05:49 PM

so u cant but them on your GBA

HLomegasin 2002-04-03 07:45 PM

No..you can't~

well, keep in mind, it's basically emulating an SNES with a different sound chip.

HLomegasin 2002-04-03 11:16 PM

MightyChicken really knows alot~

GameCube 2002-04-04 07:46 PM

no, the SNES is a 16 bit system and the GBA is 32 bit. its closer to PSX.

HLomegasin 2002-04-05 10:37 PM

but GBA's 3D is still pretty poor~

its not giving that kind of output though. Though the hardware might be there, its still performing like an SNES.

GameCube 2002-04-07 10:48 AM

yea true, but it can handle twice as much info at one time

mightychicken 2002-04-07 04:25 PM

yeah, like Mario kart for GBA is really gonna throw that much data at it

GameCube 2002-04-07 05:42 PM

well, compare mario kart 4 GBA and mario kart for SNES. the graphics are a lot better on the GBA.

mightychicken 2002-04-07 06:52 PM

*yawn* i wouldnt say its a 16 to 32 improvment though.

HLomegasin 2002-04-07 07:38 PM

Why not

GameCube 2002-04-08 04:11 PM

maybe like halfway inbetween

HLomegasin 2002-04-16 09:10 PM

Maybe.!

GameCube 2002-04-17 06:45 AM

yeah, probably

Teddybearian 2002-12-07 05:16 PM
