The upswing starts now. Activity will pick up somewhat for the next 2-3 weeks, and then will peak in about a month. And roughly 2-3 weeks after that will pick up again.

KA has it all figured out. Diablo 3 will cause such a loss of productivity that the Gross Domestic Product of the world will retract 15%. The increased demand on electrical grids worldwide will cause black outs, which will result in riots. Over a billion will die, but then that's when the tornadoes hit ...with flu in them.
