"And if that doesn't scare the hell out of you, it should"

D3V 2008-09-29 11:54 PM

LOL. That was entertaining to say the least. Too bad the Democratic base actually seems to posess some intelligence, hence their vote is already swung and this video won't horrify our base.

Chruser 2008-09-30 08:15 AM

At least she'll do away with the economic crisis.

Epic Optomism.

I applaud your ability to look on the bright side.

Dar_Win 2008-09-30 08:53 AM

Both sides in this election scare me. :(

Thanatos 2008-09-30 08:59 AM

Why are you scared of Obama?

!King_Amazon! 2008-09-30 09:25 AM

HES A MUSLIM.

Haven't you heard?

Anyone who knows anything about the Muslim religion knows that, in all cases, they would never deny being a Muslim. True Muslims believe in martyrism like no other religion, and denying being a Muslim is not something they would do.

And i'm curious too, why does Obama scare you Dar_win? I can understand why McCain/Palin would, but is a half-black man with a Harvard law professor that wants to change our country for the better really even that scary?

Thanatos 2008-09-30 01:54 PM

That's no mispelling either, people, his middle name really is Hussein!

-Spector- 2008-09-30 02:20 PM

Sadam Hussein Osama?!

!King_Amazon! 2008-09-30 02:46 PM

Bin Ladin is his VP.

D3V 2008-09-30 02:51 PM

o the coincidences.

WHEN THE FUCK DID WE GET ICE CREAM!?

Kazilla 2008-09-30 03:02 PM

That has got the be the video of the year for "taking it to far". I haven't seen something quiet like that before. I'm so interested to see who wins, if our country is really so stupid as to put the geezer and the pleaser in office.

Sorry I don't have more reasoning right now. I have to get back to work.

Thanatos 2008-10-02 09:45 AM

Is that the best you can come up with? Palin has less experience than Obama has, and there's a very good chance this woman could become President should something happen to a 72 year-old man with bad health. And, define "experience" - what do you take that as?

Have you even heard what Obama is proposing? http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ - I personally like his outlook on the economy.

If you'd like to debate something wrong with his proposals, feel free to do so, but please don't come back with "He lacks experience." - George Bush had all the experience in the world and look where that got us.

What's your beef with his health care ideas? You don't want a universal health care system like so many other industrialized nations? Let's face it: Health care in this country today is atrocious. Anybody willing to work on that and fix the multitude of problems has my vote.

Want to know the #1 reason why people can't afford their mortgages and are forced to foreclose on their homes? They're too busy trying to pay off medical bills. Fixing health care will also fix the economy.

LOL!

I think we should adopt a socialist government and finally have a chance to move forward..

Lenny 2008-10-02 04:11 PM

Bollocks to socialism, it's just communism with a smile.

---

Just two things I want to say:

Heavy control on guns - well ain't that a good thing? I seriously don't understand the American attitude to guns. Yes, I'll admit that I own an air rifle and a .410, and that my dad let's me use the 12 bore shotguns whenever I want to, but I use them to shoot cans, or dead light bulbs. And the occasional rat at the stables (we've got goats, and if the rats get into their hay there's a good chance they'll spread an infection and kill the goats. And they're nasty creatures anyway, are rats). I don't use them to feel 'safe', or pretend to be tough, I see them as a leisure thing. Heavy control on guns (which I assume means people won't be able to carry a concealed firearm, or any firearm at all) can only be good.

Health Care Ideas - again I'm assuming, because I don't know Obama's policies: he wants free health care, right? How can one not agree with that? I personally find it sickening that people in a country like America have to pay through the nose for health care. I get free dental checkups, free medicine, free vaccinations, free hospital stays and mostly free surgery, all on the NHS (which, to tell the truth, is falling apart quicker than a rag doll with leprosy. The damned thing is a black hole, with millions of pounds disappearing into it yearly with nary a trace, yet the system still works!). Fuck the Iraq war, spend billions on health care instead.

D3V 2008-10-02 04:20 PM

Totally agree with you Lenny, 100% hands down.

Tell us again how much America sucks ;).

Sum Yung Guy 2008-10-03 08:16 AM

Everyone join the military! Free dental checkups, free medicine, free (mandatory) vaccinations, free hospital stays and free surgery! Free housing, free electricity, free water, free heat! Cheap food, tax free stores! Free, free-free, free and free!

WetWired 2008-10-03 11:43 AM

Yeah, slavery isn't exactly no cost.

Sum Yung Guy 2008-10-03 01:36 PM

I'd feel more like a slave sitting in a cubicle writing lines of code all day. Glad I have the opportunity to travel the world, see the good and bad sides of our planet.

Lenny 2008-10-03 02:44 PM

Ah, but those who write the lines of code could be writing the lines of code that create a whole new world. ;) Or even the lines of code that control the re-spawn procedure after BOOM! Headshot. :p

No free healthcare for the American coders, though, even if they are fighting a daily battle with the horrible enemy that is... erm... the .NET framework?

/signed. I don't want to get shot. I have less a chance of it in a cubicle anyways.

Yeah, until someone goes postal and feels he is worth more than what the company is paying him...

Mix 1 part Economic Downfall with 2 parts Manic Depression, with a dash of Paranoia, and you have the recipe for workplace mayhem. Serve with a side of Cruel Irony for a truly superior flavor.
