When should we have the fantasy football draft? NEED YOUR INPUT.
 

I'd like to do a live draft. What that means is we'll all go to the yahoo site at the same time and there will be a javascript application that we'll load to select our players. It's quite fun.

If it's during the weekday it's going to have to be later in the day around 6 - 7 pm. I'd prefer it on a Sunday about 2:00.

We need to figure this out soon because the regular season starts next month. OMG I'm fucking excited. I love NFL.

Sunday works for me.

The draft will be centered around EST. So, if it's 2:00 pm EST on a Sunday, that's 11:00 am PST.

None of those poll options apply to me or Asamin. We won't be on Zelaron until the Monday after the next.

I'm not talking about this upcoming week.. it can be as late as September 1st.

Can't we just have it auto draft that what my cousin does for yahoo fantasy hockey. If you cant make it auto drafts.

Yeah we could make it an auto draft, but I think a live draft is much funner.

Should be an interesting season. I'll just make this an auto draft I suppose since nobody seems interested in a live draft. Expect another thread later today.

Weekends are bad for me, so I put down Monday, although I probably won't be able to make any day. I did slightly adjust my rankings already, so if I have to auto-draft, I'm fine with my first two picks.

If we WERE to do a Live draft, we'd be doing it on a Sunday. Either way, THE DRAFT WILL BE TAKING PLACE AUGUST 31st!! Live draft or auto draft, the draft will happen August 31st. REMEMBER THAT DATE!

Everyone should go ahead and pre-rank your players anyway. Log in to the league, go to "My team" or "My roster" whatever it says.. and there should be a box prompting you to pre-rank your players. Everyone do that. And I'm warning you like two weeks in advance so no bitching later on.

Are we still going to do the "Weekly Pick'Em" along with this? That should spark some activity.

What do you mean? You can change the rankings...

The Yahoo system goes directly off of last year's default scoring system. I'd say it's as close as any other ranking system around. Also, if you don't like what they have you simply drag over the players into "My rankings" column on the right side, and then update their positions in the pre-draft setup from there. I've rotated a few guys around I think are going to perform exceptionally this year, and set it up to my own personal liking.

Hah or so you think, I've got a few sleepers moved up into the higher rankings that may benefit my team nicely this season.. We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully you don't have any Colts on your team, you don't want a gimp.

Hopefully this year will be good on here, once again I've got like 4 other regular leagues, and one that I'm paying for, I'll try and keep up with this more than the other bullshit free leagues atleast here we can talk shit more freely. Should be fun, good luck all.

Why 4?

Boredom, I am very competitive. My brother and I join extra leagues just to keep up better on every player, if you have 4 seperate teams with all different players essentially you will be keeping up on a majority of the league, which will benefit you overall in the league you are trying to most in as you will always be kept up on what's going on around the league.

I might just go with 2 my cousin will probobly host one.

Well we just need to get this draft out of the way, I'm ready for an additional team to manage!

Yeah, lets do the draft already, I love looking at my rosters. I'm going to be in 4 leagues myself this year. I have my typical two that I've been in for the last 5 years now, but my company also started one this year that I joined, which made 3 money leagues.... Also, this league, but it's just for fun, because fantasy football fucking rocks my socks!
