Who thinks there should be free time activities in this game?

I was waiting for a tank yesterday with my group and I realized there is nothing to do with free time.

What do you think would be good to do for free time in the game.

I think decks of playing cards for poker or blackjack would be fun.

Stop trying to have fun, this is not a game, this is a job. Get back to grinding your rep and running the same dungeon for the 100th time.

Do dailies while waiting for groups, of course.

Depends on what you are close to. I used to fish while waiting for a BG to open up. I would also fish then have my group summon me instead of going there first cuz I hate the waiting.

Yeah there is fishing but we were in the middle of blood furnace, I was on my shaman so I didn't have my paper planes and I didn't have a steam tonk controller.

I hate waiting in any game. I usually try to avoid it whenever I can. If needed you could just talk with a friend while waiting.

Uhm, don't really play games too much, although i did want to get mario cart at the game stop today....sold out, ugh. anyways, free time....learn to knit!

Go World PVP, that's what I do is gank 40-50's for a few hours until about 30-40 epic'd out 70's show up and ruin my fun.

I hate it when you are just walking along doing nothing at around level 20 and an epic lvl 70 comes and kills you. Why do they even bother?

I atleast hang out in contested areas, and wait for somebody to attack me. It's a fun waste of time, usually I go to Tarren Mill and attack guards for a while and wait for some dumbass lowbies to come and attack me, and THEN i'll attack back.

Man, you really just need to reroll, PVE servers suck. RP servers suck, PVP is definately the way to go.

You don't have to be on a PVP server to do what D3V was talking about. Attacking guards, merchents, or quest givers flags you. Them attacking you flags them. Proceed to kill the nübs who think they can kill you.

Eh, RP servers can be decent enough. I don't play on any myself, but I've played on them before, and in general people are more mature on RP servers. RPPVP servers are almost identical to PVP servers except there are less 12 year olds. Also, for the most part, people don't actually RP on RP servers, but it does happen.

12 year olds don't go on RPPVP servers cuz they can't comprehend what RPPVP could stand for. It is too long.

To be honest, As big of a game as WoW is. You shouldn't have any free time. When you message, or get a message saying "Let's raid in 30 minutes.'' And it's only a Ten minute walk, Probably Six on a normal mount, Why leave right away? Why not Fight/Mine/Tailor/Enchant/Sell/Trade? I mean, come on. You always have something to do on WoW, If a person say's he isn't gonna be there for about twelve minutes, leave and do something. Besides, if your not there when he gets there, There is a handy little Whisper feature.

The GM of our guild which happens to be my RL buddy hopped on Weebls for me and raided... so technically I did miss it but still got the badges and whatnot.

I agree whole heartedly. The same goes for every game. Except Diablo.

I think there should be more options than just crafting or something.

A nice game like cards would be nice, or a coloring book.

Coffee...Your playing WoW in your free time, so you shouldn't have any free time. And if you wanna play cards then play solitaire. There are a bunch of skills so as you won't get bored easily.

Like what..WoW card solitaire in game? They don't want to add those things or they already would have. There are plenty of things that you could do in your free time on the game. Go play the Auction House and look for good deals, I mean...Come on man.

I know Corainder. I'm talking about group down time. I have specifically mentioned that.

Group downtime happens when you choose to sit on your ass and wait.

Not always, sometimes key members leave and we have to wait to replace them.

Why wait to replace them? Why not go and do something while looking for someone to help you.

Sometimes the group is kinda deep in the instance and the time it would take to leave and do something is not worth it.
