He had a stroke tonight. As of now I just know he's not stabilized and they've not been updated on his condition in 45 minutes. Craig didn't want me to come with him to the hospital, so I have to go off what he's telling me. I'm really worried about him since this guy took me into his home and tried to help me find a job. He's been so nice to me and treated me like I was apart of his family. He even calls me "Uncle J-P" to his granddaughter.

Keep him in your hearts and prayers, please.

That sucks. Hope he pulls through.

Right now they think the cancer that he had had may have spread to his brain and that may have been what triggered the stroke, but he may have nerve damage. Craig's still asleep right now, so I don't know much more than that.

One of my ex's mothers had a stroke because of cancer =(. That sucks. I wish him the best of luck. He sounds like a nice guy.

Well, his condition's not changed. Can't move or talk, but he can look around. That's really about it. They're still not sure what caused the stroke. :/

Let us know when he's stabalized, oh and a question I don't want taken the wrong way...

Positive update!

His dad can respond, just not talk. He can smile, nod, etc. :)

Well, at least he's making progress. Hopefully his areas handling speech and all that kick in now.

Can only hope.

They pulled the plug on him today. We don't know exactly when he's going to go, but we just know he is.

I've never truly lost someone that I considered myself really close to. Came close once or twice, but never fully happened. I'm not suffering as much as I'm sure my boyfriend and his mom are. THey've both been really strong about all this and I'm honestly proud of them.

He passed today at 8:15 PM my time. He will be missed.

I'm sorry KJ. I've never been close to anyone who's died. Only person was a guy i dated for a while back in the day, he died in a car accident last year.

Hopefully your bf handles it okay. I know my last serious gf's mother died and she actually got changed a lot to the positive ...made her grow up a little.

He's taking it fine. He had his breakdown before he died and he's made his peace. A little humor goes a long way, espcially when someone you care about dies. When my grandfather died, my uncle broke the silence by talking about his (my grandfather) favorite kind of pickles.
