?~~~~Rain(雨)~~~~?

Okay, how many people honestly enjoy the rain and love to just go out and dance, jump, sing, etc. in the rain? And if you hate the rain and frown upon it then also tell me.

I like the rain. I sometimes just go out and stand in it for a few moments and enjoy the cool moistness. Then I go in and grab a hot shower. It's the most relaxing thing one can do, in my opinion.

Goodlookinguy 2007-01-29 01:30 AM

Relaxing eh, emm...I actually have to agree with you about the hot bath. Hmm...what about the breeze one feels doesn't that sometimes give the chills.

HandOfHeaven 2007-01-29 04:46 AM

Nice to play soccer in. Terrible when it is 35 degrees though.

Atnas 2007-01-29 07:18 AM

I like a nice mid-temp rain. I hate the cold or warm rain. Just that 45 degreeish rain is nice, and I stay out as long as I can.

!King_Amazon! 2007-01-29 09:07 AM

I like the rain, but I don't go out dancing in it like a fruitcake.

Atnas 2007-01-29 09:30 AM

I don't dance when I'm out there. I merely stand outside with my head up and eyes closed. It feels really good when you get entirely submerged in rain.

Lenny 2007-01-29 10:14 AM

Rain as a whole is lovely.

Although rain which is like hail is horrible, every other type is great.

As HoH said, it's great to play football in the rain - especially if it's the type of rain that soaks you to the skin as soon as you step outside. You know the sort. Gets you so wet after a few minutes that you can't get any wetter, and actually keeps you pretty warm. Plays merry hell with glasses, though - you can't wipe them because they smear, and you can't wipe them anyway becuase they'll be covered in rain as soon as you put them back on.

Thanatos 2007-01-29 10:45 AM

When I went to go see Tom Petty in '05 I experienced that. It was pouring SOOOOOOOOOO freakin bad that I couldn't have possibly got any wetter than I was. It took us 30 minutes to find our car because we couldn't see 10 feet in front of us. It was literally that bad. With all that aside, that was the best concert I've ever been to.

Haha, nice one, very true.

I prefer serious storms. I used to get a lawn chair and sit on the yellow line of main street with it with zero visibility and run off the road when I saw headlights. Once I leaned back and looked up at the hail coming down at me for so long that my face got bruised.

Goodlookinguy 2007-01-29 12:28 PM

Bruised your face, ouch!

Before I moved here to Utah, I was in NC, hurricane territory. I loved hurricanes, they canceled school and I rarely lost power/internet. Friggin sweet.

Dar_Win 2007-01-29 01:31 PM

I love rain.

For some reason thunderstorms put me to sleep?

Thunderstorms put you to sleep?! How, when the lightning stikes and the thunder scares the daylight out of you.

Lenny 2007-01-29 01:59 PM

My cats always run and hide either under my bed, or behind the basement door during thunderstorms.

Rather amusing to suddnely find them and see they're a shivering ball of fur.

Atnas 2007-01-29 02:04 PM

cats

Lenny 2007-01-29 02:11 PM

What's wrong with cats? Everyone loves cats!

Grav 2007-01-29 02:19 PM

...cats blow.

The only guys who really like cats are very feminine, possibly gay.

Not true, I'm quite the opposite of what you said, & I love cats.

Lenny 2007-01-29 03:38 PM

Cats are great!!

And I abhor dogs with a vengeance. Which might be why I like cats so much.

Atnas 2007-01-29 04:19 PM

I'm in the same boat as you, Lenny. Although I'm manning the battle stations.

Goodlookinguy 2007-01-29 05:37 PM

Yo, yo, yo!!!

I uploaded an image of the main character of my manga even though the quality sucks big time but I did some major revisions in the RPG Maker area forum post entitled "A new Current projects" if you know what I'm writing about then you outta check it out.

As for talking about this hmm...I like both cats and dogs but cats better.

Atnas 2007-01-29 05:54 PM

I hate dogs. They're so evil. And I'll check out the update.

Goodlookinguy 2007-01-29 06:07 PM

They aren't evil unless you bother them like poking a dog who's minding his own bussiness with a stick, then you're asking for it pal.
!!!Rain not cats and dogs, I wasn't talking about raining cats and dogs!!!

Stay on subject including myself!

Slyvr 2007-01-29 06:11 PM

.................................................. .................................................. ...........................WTF are you ppl talking about? Dancing in the rain? Cats and dogs? WUH

Atnas 2007-01-29 06:15 PM

It's called reading.

I enjoy huge thunderstorms with lots of lightning and thunder, but I don't go prancing in the rain singing. I don't like wet clothes.

Lenny 2007-01-30 10:02 AM

The way to combat that is to just not wear clothes. Simple.

Sovereign 2007-01-30 01:54 PM

Yeah.. try that and tell me how it goes.

Goodlookinguy 2007-01-30 05:28 PM

It was overcast where I live, today. Though rain has yet to sprinkle down, but I'm waiting, tick tock, tick, tock. Come On Rain!!!

Sovereign 2007-01-30 06:44 PM

It snowed last night here. When I was driving home from school, it got from moderatly bad, to a blizzard, to moderatly bad again in a matter of 1 mile.

Its only snowed one time in my hometown since I was born.

MightyJoe 2007-01-31 12:56 PM

Lucky, I honestly hate snow, and can't wait to get the fuck out of michigan.

Thanatos 2007-01-31 01:00 PM

Don't go 1 state south. It sucks here, too.

MightyJoe 2007-01-31 04:36 PM

I'm thinking Nevada, but going to like north or south carolina also wouldn't be too bad.

!King_Amazon! 2007-01-31 04:53 PM

South Carolina is one big shit-hole.
